So I just stumbled across this chest icon on the Galleon Minerva imgur.com/gVUeNhOI've never seen that anywhere else and it only shows on the minimap not the big one. Does anyone know what this is?

Even though it's a backer designed room I really dislike when a room like this have no ultra hidden secret. The confessional booth in Sotn was very mysterious but it ended up having no hidden secret. It's so painful when mystery rooms like these are "wasted". I mean just make it REALLY hard to figure out...so random that it will take years for someone to happen upon by chance.

Would like the team to add the ability to adjust screen size to fit your TV screen. Didn't find this in the options menu and the image is currently a little cropped for me at the moment. Playing the PS4 version of the game. Would appreciate if Angel-Corlux or Question could look into this. Thanks. You can fix this via the Ps4 display settings. Make sure your tv's ratio is set to auto/full and not 16:9 and you can increase/decrease the screen size on the Ps4 system.

I've been lurking around this forum a lot and I've always enjoyed your analyses and breakdowns whenever new images pops up. I totally get that you want to avoid spoilers and experience the mystery around Bloodstained just as many of us did when playing SotN for the first time, it's the same for me =)

I was just about to post the same thing as dahvoo did. So we the backers paid $60 for the entire game while on release others can get the same experience for $50 incl Iga-dlc... How are we supposed to be fine with this?? Don't forget to add Curse of the Moon, too. You are correct. So that makes the total even $60 vs $60. This means the backers didn't get anything extra or exclusive (save for a slipcase).

I'm seeing a lot of people both here and in the kickstarter comments saying that the delay is fine and that it was expected. I agree that the delay is fine but I find it very disrespectful to all backers when they're not even giving us a specific window. We shouldn't just swallow everything they give us and play nice without demanding something, and a more specific window than 2019 isn't asking for much. I love IGA and this project but it just pisses me off when people just accept the "sometime in 2019" date, at this point we shouldn't tolerate that. Well, it may be frustrating, but it's probably because they don't want to announce a release date or even a window until they're absolutely sure. It's impossible to know how long something you've never done is going to take until you actually try and do it. This project's probably a lot of firsts for the team...they'll likely see how things are going and then decide on a firm release date. The game should be almost done and if they can't even specify "first half of 2019" which ends 10 months from now then they are having real problems over there. Ofcourse the beta feedback pushes the date further but it's still a cause for concern since by just stating "2019" it comes off as if they don't really know themselves if it's going to take them 5 months or 16 months.

I agree that a Bestiary section in the Archives would be useful. Might I also suggest an option to hide the mini-map as well or adjust the opacity of it? There's already several options for the mini-map if you press the map button. You can adjust the size and opacity or even toggle it on/off.

I think one of the coolest part of this new area is the well that leads to a new cave-like area. My guess is that it leads to the underground caverns that was shown in update 58.

Very good find! =D I just tried it myself and could use the infinite jump to explore further up. Unfortunately there's nothing up there... no extra rooms or anything. Have you tried using a similar trick for the other blocked doors in the demo?

The teleporters are in the demo, they are just in places we can't reach and aren't functional. People have screen shots from glitching over to them. Just like any IGA game, expect them in the final game. Where are these screenshots? I would love to see videos of this as well or instructions on how to reproduce the glitches.

I think it might be cool if this was handled in a way similar to the Librarian in Symphony of the Night, where each shopping spree still begins and ends with a voice clip, but without any dialogue windows to interrupt your shopping needs. Heck, some subtitles at the bottom of the screen wouldn't even be that bad as long as they don't pause the action. Yes! Artplay, just do this and I believe everyone will be satisfied =D No need for any dialogue windows.

You can easily cheese the fight with a rapier, which is also affected by Lion's sword mastery, dealing at 30 per slash in addtion to being faster. I cheesed even further with maxed shards. (bats and arrow increase in number with rank)I beat him in 10 seconds tops with the Summon Bat shard at rank 6, which is extremely overpowered, along with the Straight Arrow shard at higher ranks. Being overpowered is not so bad if you actually worked hard for it, but enhancing shards is not even hard. It honestly makes me not want to enhance certain shards just to prevent myself from being overpowered so early in the game, and that's definitely an issue that needs the attention of the dev team. Busterific A possible explanation for that is those enemies are demons, while Zangetsu is a human, so it kinda makes sense that coming in contact with him doesn't damage you. I totally agree with this. Using the overpowered enhanced Straight Arrow was very fun but it's way too easy to obtain it. They'll probably add more ingredients for enhancing shards in the full game though.

When you check the map the areas that you're not currently in are greyed out (great feature) but when you're in the Garden of Silence the Entrance part isn't, so they appear as the same area. This happens all the time.

Played the demo for 2h and it felt so right! I want to continue past the boss right now! =)
One particular death animation I liked was the big "Lion swordsman", it's like his soul flies away in particles when he dies, I love it.
In the conversations I want to see more of the actual character model. I'd like to see them react in the scene.
Please add 2d sprites for the item drops instead of generic bags. There's 2d sprites for the HP/MP-up pick-ups and it doesn't look jarring. I just want to feel excited when I see that cool new sword drop!
You can spot Zangetsu rowing in the background towards the castle when you're on the Galleon Minerva. More tiny details like this. It's amazing!
The silence in the village didn't feel right.
It would be great if the "creature" in the background of the save room was animated.
When talking to npc's the text boxes need to be quicker.
While I didn't die a single time I think that the difficulty is perfect for the opening areas.

When attacking with a Greatsword the sword blinks for a frame at the end of the animation. This happens everytime.
