When in hurry, we might get a bit annoyed about the "shopkeepers" always having the final word.
I suggest that you either in the menu can toggle on/off about Shopkeepers talking after you finished buying, crafting, cooking, salvage or selling your items. Once you leave the menu, you also can move and run off to your adventure.
Minor issue, but can see a problem with it once you have lots of materials and gold, and need to run between the shopkeepers.
Alternative: Hold select- or start-button, get a pop-up menu saying "Good Bye dialogue off" or a better word for it.

I think it might be cool if this was handled in a way similar to the Librarian in Symphony of the Night, where each shopping spree still begins and ends with a voice clip, but without any dialogue windows to interrupt your shopping needs. Heck, some subtitles at the bottom of the screen wouldn't even be that bad as long as they don't pause the action.

Agreed. The talking could use more snappiness, especially since the exchanges themselves feel drawn out and don't have much personality outside that vengeful villager.

Totally agree. Somehow I ended up leaning my controller stick up a little too high once and ended up talking to Johannes seven times before I could get to the save room. The dialogue boxes are an annoyance at the best of times...

Artplay, just do this and I believe everyone will be satisfied =D No need for any dialogue windows.

After having spent way too much time crafting things and running between the two shops over and over:
This! This, so, so, so much!
Both goodbye and hello dialogues add nothing after the first time and take up way too much time, even if you press skip immediately.
Any solution that lets me immediately get in and out of shop menus is fine.

Could also add an skip button to the talking and if you do that quick enough the NPC could answer a little snappier with something like "Huh, you seem to be in a hurry.", "Bye, then." or "Why the rush?" Would be fun aswell .
