Two out of three isn't bad but I noticed some people saying Gears of Fortune is that classic Yamane sound, guys you do realize these are not her compositions right? In the update they are showing what the other team has contributed to the music. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Noisycroak was brought in just for PRODUCING the song which includes arranging, programming etc., not for actual COMPOSITION. Of course producing a song typically consists of writing & arranging melodies, but the main melody line is composed by the composer not the arranger.

1. Soundtrack is absolutely amazing.
Ms. Yamane's melancholic melody line is beautiful as usual in Gears of Fortune. Maybe turning the piano down a little bit where it's just playing a single chord, but hey that's nitpicking. The Executioner is your "typical" boss fight theme. It rings me a bell about the same theme in SoTN. Vs. Zangetsu with this song immediately remembered me of Alucard vs. Clone Alucard lol Theme of Johannes is very interesting. String orchestra definitely makes it sounds heavy and dark (darn that double bass & cello, they sound fantastic), yet there's something "slick" or even "sly" in the melody. Hmm, finger-crossed for Johannes. 2. Graphically the game seems more polished than ever.
So many details in Courtyard area! One thing I kinda miss is the different color representing different kinds of attack when you hit enemies back in SoTN. There's no indication of hitting an enemy other than damage point in the video, but it's probably an "alpha" thing. Another thing, I might make Zangetsu a little bit quicker while performing his action, that's my own opinion though so take it with grain of salt 3. MIRIAM'S NEW HAT IS SO CUUUUUUUUUUUTE

I love to write, but only in my native language I can't share them with you guys sadly. I tend to write freely (or non-linearly?), like there's a scene that I want to write, I'll just write that scene, and then try to connect with other scene (if there's any). So... yeah I'm pretty lame at organizing the whole story or coming up with a complete plot lol. Still it's a good way to represent my mind and I'm pretty proud of my creation

Everyone wishes SoTN could get a "definitive edition", but with Konami I saw little hope...
Bear in mind though, Sega Saturn is infamous for its bad support for developers, mainly because its hardware architecture is way ahead of its time and lacks of documentation. It might not be just the team's fault.

Angel-Corlux and gunlord500 had summed up everything lol, I'm here just to provide some interesting trivia Noisy Croak is actually a sound production company with a long history which could be traced back to 1996, sadly they didn't provide support to Igavanias other than Judgement, but here are some of their other remarkable works: Toukiden series (Toukiden 2 and Toukiden Kiwami) Dance Dance Revolution (they provided original songs, and also programmed some of the others' tracks) Yakuza series, (from 2 to 4) Super Smash Bros. Wii U / 3DS verison (yep, Nintendo)

Well organized just like a business card. I do like the metal-style texture on "GIN", might make "ギン" more 3D-ish though, like a reverse plate or something.

If we're talking about the main game (without the extra modes that kickstarter campaign added), then I'll go with 3. Otherwise, 2, it might take too much time preparing all these extras, and it's not necessary to have all of them in the initial release. It's okay to release these extra modes as post-release updates or free DLCs IMO.

Thank you Angel-Corlux and the 505 team for visiting and discussing the future plans for Bloodstained during this hot and humid weather! We had a really productive meeting and we're so glad that everyone is just as excited as we are. Honestly, when we went over some of the plans we obviously tried to stay professional, but we kept telling each other, "Is that REALLY possible? Can we do that? Look at all the possibilities." We also loved all the ideas presented to us. Because they were all really good, the only concern we had was if we could incorporate all of them. Glad you liked the food too! Also, 505 team successfully conquered the pufferfish dinner. PS. Nobody died. I believe this has been said countless times before, but please tell our dev team take their time and do what they want to! It's unrealistic to incorporate all the ideas of course lol

At first it looks like Downward meets Super Meat Boy in a sense, then I found it's way deeper than that. The whole exploration thing intrigues me a lot. Seems like a Switch exclusive though, I haven't had the console yet *sigh* Yeah, looks that way. Do you have interest in getting a switch? If you're adamant about it, the price on ebay has gone down significantly for them. I found one the other day for $349.99 Which is SIGNIFICANTLY less than what they were going for. (IE $400+, if you were lucky, $450+ if you weren't) Otherwise I know that gamestop tends to stock them quite often, tho it seems to be hush-hush on when they actually do get more stock. (I ended getting mine after waiting in a line @gamestop for about...3 hours. Of course the only reason I even knew about it was cause of a tip-off by JeffCross . SPEAKING OF WHICH where is that man. I haven't talked to that guy in ages. ;p I'm going to grab it sooner or later, but I'm wondering if Nintendo would put out a new model(just like what they did with 3DS), I prefer waiting for the new one. Yeah we have approximately the same price for Switch from where I live, slightly higher than MSRP, but Nintendo NEVER intended to sell the console at that price, did they? lol Haven't seen Jeff on the forum recently, maybe he's busy saving the world XD

The "demo" 2017 are not for the backers. Early access, if we get it, will open up so much more for us. I think we will get that. About Mana taking on more work isn't something they have announced, but since 505 Games are here and will continue to be the communication between backers and the developments it makes sense. If that's the case, basically Angel is going to replace Mana as Community Manager? That'll need some clarification I think.

1. Plot light. Give people just enough of content and leave a lot of blank usually makes people care about more IMO, and BS is not a heavily story-driven game either.
2. YES! I mean why not, pretty, attractive bad-ass woman killing demons? I'm all in. *cough* Erotic Violence *cough*
3. An item like that would crush the whole game lol, it'll be fun to do though. Maybe make that item as a *collector item* (you can't acquire it with normal means, or even simpler, put it in NG+) would be fine.
4. Yes, a command move is always good.
5. I prefer variation. Some of the main areas could be big enough to lose yourself in, yet others are just peanut size areas. Also different areas could be in different shapes, like Outer Wall in SoTN is a long vertical hallway, and the Cathedral has a staircase-like structure.
6. I do think Morte is the new Skeleton Soldier.
7. Considering Konami's Castlevania series, I'd prefer the timeline of BS is chronically simple lol. I'm not a fan of meta-franchise but if IGA decided to go that way I'd be OK with that.
8\9. Whether BS is successful or not, I only back projects that intrigues me, so it depends. I failed to see the reason why IGA would do another kickstarter if BS is success lol
10. I don't have an idea, TBH. Everything so far is typical in classic Igavania, the only in-game system we haven't seen yet is crafting. Maybe they're referring to that?
11. If you're talking about the story-line, I particularly hate one kind of plot that implies the concept of vain. Everything you (the player) do, is in vain, that feeling of powerless is the worst, at least for me.
12. I'd love to but I can't come up with a good play mechanic with her right now. Miriam is more of a fast melee warrior, so maybe she could be a much slower but powerful remote mage? (I remember saying this in another thread)
13. Miriam. Come on she's the protagonist!
14. Giving craft system is in the game, I highly doubt devs would make Miriam heavily rely on magic power.
15. The shop from OoE is fine, I might stick with that.
16. Somehow I found that keep bumping your head into ceiling is mildly interesting. High jump.
17. Dominique. Her character fits into the world of killing demons. Though I'd love to see Bloodless in Boss Revenge Mode, but more likely that mode is going to be made for Gebel (just my wild guess though, no evidence whatsoever).

In short, it was probably closer to restarting from scratch than it was to picking up where Inti left off. That said, the game's design - what ArtPlay has been working on, and Inti may be assumed to have contributed to - has probably remained largely unchanged since the beginning. So, in that sense, it's not like all of the work that had been done up to the time of the developer switch was lost. As for the developer switch causing a delay, well, it did - that's why the game was pushed to 2018. But there's no need to worry: the wait should be well worth it in terms of the quality we're getting. The best things come to those who wait. I'd say Inti contributed a lot to game design, and maybe sound department as well, as I've mentioned in an earlier post in this thread, Mr. Natsume and Mr. Yamada is responsible for these aspects, and they're in the project probably from the very beginning. Actual game development / code-wise, yes, I highly doubt there are anything that's left by Inti except a little bit of salvaging.
