I'm used to older castlevania and more dark-toned games having some nudity in them,afterall vampires,lust,and temptation are all intertwined to one another
What would I expect in the game in terms of nudity?An Angelic statue,A Demoness statue,some weird temptation demoness,maybe a shower scene with the main character showing off a little bit of ass just to rile up the fanboys haha...but honestly I'm expecting an ESRB rating aimed between teenagers and adults so either the T for Teen or M for Mature rating,this game will have blood and scenes of violent behavior it's not exactly a kids game even without a little bit of nudity

Well thinking it over, this game would have more cause for a succubus than Castlevania. Bloodstained = Demons, Castlevania = Vampires (oversimplifying).

I just came from playing HuniePop with the uncensoring patch... I'm totally okay with nudity, though I understand other people would not be; a toggle to turn on or off nudity and a warning before the game starts would be the best if there is any nudity.
Ultimately, though, I'll let the designers decide if they want to add nudity or not.

Let Iga go all out. Though how things are now, it should be fine to at least have something like a Medusa-like boss have her chest fully exposed at the beginning of the defeated-boss-animation sequence, and possibly elaborate more on Persephone and her skirt.
I'm guessing it all shouldn't be difficult to create in clever ways that will be satisfying yet not "overtly distasteful". For example, right after the final hit to Medusa as a boss during an event-triggered battle, the screen flashes, then Medusa's textures altogether turn into a silhouette, then a second later Medusa's clothing/armor from the chest fall to the floor. Point being is that showing the silhouette of Medusa's bare chest should be less offensive than showing it all raw and running into possible censorship outside of Japan.

Lol at drawing the moustache on the statue, gebel walks by it later and the enemies have joined in on the fun and the whole gallery looks like a looney tunes cartoon I am ALL for this! This needs to be a regular thing throughout the game. You can make Miriam deface artwork or statues and most of the time when you come back the defacement is gone, but occasionally when you come back the room is all covered in silly art and tags so it looks like a cartoon. |

a little nudity is fine, just try to not let it get in the way of telling a good story or making a good game. iga should be free to do what he wants with the game to match his artistic vision, and i trust he wont oversexualize it or anything,

I don't think IGA will have anything oversexualized. I'm confident that the nudity in Bloodstained will only amount to his glorious artistic vision.
The only foreseeable problem is whether people will be allowed to stream the game on Twitch in the future. That site's staff seems to have a ridiculous problem with games that have any amount of nudity in them...but no problem whatsoever with games that have grotesque graphic violence (I'm looking at you, Mortal Kombat X).

Anything on the internet can very, very quickly devolve into pornography, and for something to be taken professionally serious with sponsors etc, you definitely want to avoid anything like that.

I for one don't mind nudity at all.
The gothic style has a very seductive side to it, nudity is pretty commonplace in comics, animation and games with a gothic aesthetic.
If it helps the game's aesthetic and IGA's vision, I'm all for it.
I'm not a fan of media that gets watered down.

In my opinion if the nudity is for an artistic purpose will be ok, but if the objective would be attracting players with fanservice, with the risk of making the game a parody of itself, well, this will be a bad thing.
