Operation: Art Legacy

I think Mana is a perfect substitute. She has a similar feel with her art but the technique and style still feels unique. It's perfect for Bloodstained in the sense that it....reminds you of Ayami while being something new for Bloodstained.

Plus if they didn't get Ayami Kojima at the beginning of all this I imagine there's a reason. She's probably busy elsewhere nowadays.

Well the over 500 votes saying they'd love Mana more involved should give you a clear feeling on what she could contribute

That is definitely a great direction to take and it might be marketing for now but I know personally I'd LOVE for her to be involved in the actual art direction of the game. ( that's just my feeling but I'd wager 500 other people would feel the same as well   )

Army of the Night! You were asked to come together and voice your suggestions and I'm excited to say you certainly have done so effectively. It is time to present our unified request to ArtPlay and 505 Games. We have 505 "yes" votes to encourage IGA to use Mana Ikeda's artistic potential to it's fullest extent.

This poll was initiated when we discovered Mana's poster art. However, after the poll had begun to pick up speed Angel-Corlux of 505 Games answered our questions about IntiCreates no longer being involved in Bloodstained. It became clear Nastsume-san would no longer be able to produce promotional art for the game. It also became clear that DICO is only currently producing assets to be used in game design, and not for the expressed purpose of promotional material. This means our request for more art from Mana is even more critical to the long term success of Bloodstained. Not just for when this game is marketed to the public, but also for any possible future titles as well.

Never before have we had more votes in a single poll than this one. In only 3 days we gathered together and broke records. The only other poll that came close had 141 voters and was active for 5 whole months! Since this poll began we have 149 new members. Welcome to all of you, and thank you so much! We have also seen a resurgence of returning members which include many old friends all of whom are great to see again. There was potential for many more votes. The most staggering number is that of our page views. Since this poll began we have had 112,931 page views! That is simply amazing. Consider we only had 519 total votes. If we had so many views, why don't they vote? Well, to vote you must register, and some people just didn't want to. Moving people from one social platform to another is almost impossible on the internet. Imagine how many people out there saw us linking the poll on social media and didn't visit this site. They may not have been involved, but they saw us being passionate bout this game that is important to us. I believe that is a testament to how special our game is. I know I asked for 1000+ votes, but I knew we could only reach that if people were more willing to register on this forum that ArtPlay pays for. Well, aim for the stars an hit the moon, we certainly have hit the moon on this. 505 is a special number to us now, and I believe it will help us get our point across.

So let it be officially requested right now! Mana and Angel-Corlux we request consideration for Mana to be involved in future promotional art assets for Bloodstained and any potential future titles related to Bloodstained. We aren't sure about the details of why IGA hasn't already done so, but we wish to make this clear: If it is about budget, we request 505 Games provide IGA what he needs to make this an easy decision. We trust his wisdom, and we trust you will understand the weight of our request. Angel-Corlux just said in a recent reply in this thread: "I can confirm that if Mana becomes more involved in the art of the game, it would purely be for marketing art at this point. Which is something that I'm going to need soon anyway. Because right now I don't have anyone I can go to for that." If promotional art is a need for 505 Games as stated, the correct path here is obvious. We have come together and put numbers behind our voices. Please forward these results to those who need to see it, and please keep us informed of any progress. Confirmation that you have begun those communications will also be appreciated. I'd think i'd be happy with either Mana or Kojima and that's saying something. REALLY excited for Mana doing box art ( which isn't confirmed but.......the possibility is there )
