Personal skills huh? What are Simon and Dracula's?
Simon Belmont has Vampire Killer, which pulls in nearby bombs and characters.
Dracula has Dark Curse, which sets an invisible trap that will deflect bombs set on top of them. (Can set up to four.)

Just turned SBR on casually a few days ago and was quite surprised, I had no idea about this update.
The new guest bombers are fun, I think that Shiori's personal skill is perhaps a little too powerful in multiplayer matches. (Just use her personal ability to stun them, then run past them dropping bombs. If they don't/can't get Bomb Kick then they're pretty much doomed.)
Also noticed we have (at least) one new story mode world. I'll look into that within the next few days.

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada. To get my Warriors fix before Fire Emblem Warriors.
Late this month is going to be all about Fire Emblem Warriors and Super Mario Odyssey.

The creator of AM2R tells people to buy the game and that he wants it to succeed. But some of his fans are still getting all hissy and demanding that Samus Returns is a flop.
Anyway, I haven't been able to put too much time into it, but it's good from what I've experienced. A nice return to the Super and Fusion style of game, and quite a bit harder then I was expecting.

Combo the Secret of Mana remake with a Chrono Trigger remake, and I'll be in paradise.

Two of my 'big three' of DW have been revealed. Namely, Cao Cao and Yuan Shao. (the third, Sima Yi, looks like he'll have to wait a bit.)
Anyway, in the designs of returning veterans, you can see a clear theme of 'marry the DW8 design with older designs'. Liu Bei is by far the most notable with this, returning to a more DW2-5 visual design, though with some respects to his DW8 look, such as in his facial structure. I'll also note that this is really the first time I would ever dare to use the word 'badass' to describe Liu Bei.
The emphasize on merging modern designs with classic designs is good for Diaochan, because she'd have been straight up naked is they continued the route they were going. DW8 pretty much had her in underwear and a waistcloth. Though with Diaochan specifically, I'll mention that while I do acknowledge that since she was part of a plot to have both Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu to lust after her and thus there was an in-story justification for her outfits in recent installments, I still favor a more 'conservative beauty' for her, as she had prior to DW6. I'm a straight guy and all, but I honestly find massively sexually promiscuous designs to be a bit of a turnoff.
Though the emphasize on merging the older and newer designs makes me wonder how more recent DW characters, like Wen Yang or Bao Sanniang, are going to look.
Last design note from me, Yuan Shao's cape. I never liked the shape it had in DW8, and I like that it's returning to a more 'traditional' design as far as capes go.
Also, looking at the renders, everyone is still using their current weapon as of DW8E. (Sun Quan's sword isn't on fire, but that's still clearly his Flame Blade.) That actually irks me a little with Yuan Shao, because while a favorite character of mine, I've never liked the moveset of the Extension Blade.

I feel like I should be worried about 'strategist bloat' with the Wei kingdom at this point. They now have Jia Xu, Guo Jia, Xun Yu, and now Man Chong. That's 4 strategists. Maybe even 5 if you count Sima Yi, though he's technically a Jin character these days.
But then again, in DW8 Koei did a good job at letting the various strategists of Wei share screentime and make strategies alongside each other. Perhaps my concern shall prove to be groundless.
Regardless, really liking Man Chong's design (seems to be drawing quite a bit from his Blast design), as well as Sun Shangxiang. Lu Xun... eh, never liked him, but his design seems fairly good. Looking at his 9 design in relation to Guan Yu and Xiahou Dun's designs, and I see a clear attempt to callback to the character designs of older DW games.
Can't comment on Lu Bu, because I feel that the cellphone picture isn't giving us a good look at him in particular. I'll wait for a full scan before I talk about him at length.

Secret of Mana but not Chrono Trigger?
I will find whoever made this decision.
Joking aside, as nice of a lineup it may be, probably not going to try to get. Most of these games have had their share of digital rereleases, so if I really want to play them I'll just nab a game or two I like out of the list on the VC.

Might be worth mentioning that we have some new amiibo for the 3DS game.
The Metroid amiibo looks good, but the Samus one looks a bit iffy with the excessively large shoulders. (How she used to look like, I know, but I prefer the shoulder proportions of her Smash amiibo.)

Taking down AM2R just so they could make their own AM2R.
Joking aside, it's a good looking 3DS title. And as for Prime 4, it was the only brand new game I saw anywhere at E3 that was immediately in the 'must have' category of things. (Trailers for some already known games were good, but that's not Metroid related.)

I've played daily since the app's release. (The only other mobile games I really play are Kngdom Hearts Union X, and Dynasty Warriors Unleashed.) Current team is Camus, Palla, Michalis, and Ninian, all at 5 stars. Camus, Palla, and Ninian are also 40+1 units atm. (Michalis will have to wait until they do a GHB encore for him. I sacrificed the spare Michalis from his first go-round to put Iote's Shield on Palla.) As one quick demonstration, my current Camus: pbs.twimg.com/media/DBmeRi7XkAA7MbF.jpg

Imho, while a lot of people have nostalgic feelings for Banjo-Kazooie, a lot of those nostalgic individuals likely forgot that it takes a certain mindset/personality to really enjoy a game structured like that. Bear in mind I haven't played Yooka-Laylee, so I can't comment on the game's actual quality. Though I do have a friend who's played the game and he really liked it.
It was a bit over-hyped as well. And really, it makes me slightly worried about what critical reception Bloodstained will receive. Will Bloodstained be seen through an overly critical lens because people let their expectations get a tad too high?

I dunno about using Dynasty Warriors to deal with anger or stress issues. Relieving such emotional problems by killing hundreds of fictional people doesn't seem all that psychologically healthy to me.
Regardless, I myself am excited for DW9. I have the digital version of DW8:CLXE on my PS4, and I've played it to death. To the point that it's hard to find the drive to play it anymore, I've just done every battle in the game so many times. I eagerly await the reveal of my 'big three' Warriors, Cao Cao, Sima Yi, and Yuan Shao. Other favorites of mine include Lu Lingqi, Zhang Liao, Sima Zhao, and Cao Pi.
Also really hope that Bian Shi becomes a new Wei character.

Well, I think Copy X would function better since he has a pre-existing armor. X turns into the X1 armor during gameplay in MvCI, and Copy X has his rendition of the Ultimate Armor. (Or is it the Falcon Armor?) Cyber Elf X doesn't really have any kind of armor equivalent.
He's possible, but Copy X is a little more easy since we already have an armor design for him.

I played Command Mission. It's a decent game, though I'll note that its battle system is basically FFX's battle system with tweaks. The game's big problem is that it was released while we still had X7's bad taste in our mouths.
I'm fine with the CM armor, though I admit it wouldn't have been my first choice. I might have been more interested if they tried to make a Copy X alt. We've never officially seen that guy in 3-D.

Well, during the new gameplay trailers I think we did see X use a new boss weapon attack.
And it looks like... Wind Cutter. From #$@%ing X7 of all games.

I did some summoning to try and boost the odds of summoning a 5 star unit. I got bunny Lucina, lol.
Also, once this arena week ends tomorrow I'll have enough feathers to turn Michalis into a 5 star unit. His bad resistance aside, I think he's one of the best fliers in the game.
