It's a bit too soon for her to be included in any Smash roster. That said, the day it happens, it will mean a ton of things, first of all the full recognition of a project, the hard work of Master Iga and his teams and the support from its fans.
I will wait for that day to happen, for sure.

Oh, I'm glad for VP to not be buried and considered a dead IP. That said, I am highly suspicious on how SE manages its non-FF IPs lately. Do yourself a favor and get VP Lenneth for PSP. You'll never regret it.

Thanks a lot for the updates Croc, Invidisible will end being a superb game! They totally worked on the VP battle system making it so dynamic, it's crazy.
I just hope I'll be adaptable enough to all of these changes and that HP will be easily recoverable enough.
For me, this game is the one I don't seek info on, but I am so glad it's developing nicely! I am so glad I slacker-backed it, even if 'stained remains my priority!

If such sliders exist, while defining in the end if the game will be of easy, normal, hard or nightmare tier (ideally the ranges of difficulty levels that I'd find ideal), I'd want the game to reflect that in a post-game summary... It would also nice to make so that cannot be faked, if people want to speedrun the game (if it ends being a thing).
That said, it would bring the concept of what would be the game content about and the rewards that go with it. An easier difficulty should make the best items impossible to obtain, after all... (they would be replaced by others)

I wouldn't mind for some cheesy voiceover like the western PS1 version of CSOTN... even if we aim for quality and seriousness this time. That said, I hope for some bloopers (I loved what Working Designs did!) and never forget there are bonus via some fortunate ones, concerning David Hayter (now Zangetsu) and Robert Belgrade (The Mysterious Man?! Who will he be?!!)
And then many more fun things, I'm sure of it. This will be part of the wait!

Once again, I will observe Ko-ko from afar, but I have no hype for them, unless they completely purify themselves from the corruption they created over the years. My preferences have always been leaning towards Zangetsu and Dominique. A few reasons why: - One male character and a female one. One anti-hero, one trusted ally, or is she really?
- Two demon-hunters/exorcists/purification experts, one oriental-styled and the other, occidental-styled.
- Fanservice. Do you need me to explain more of that?
- Zangetsu's motive is vengeance towards Gebel, he is a lone wolf. Dominique has been tasked by the Church to infiltrate the castle but is much connected to the village still. Would she be after these sacred books?
- Both truly are connected to Miriam. One agressively because he thinks she is still with Gebel. The other as a friend, a common past.
Why do I dismiss the others? Johannes: I see him more as a possible quest-giver/advisor. That said, his best role would be of a minor antagonist/sabotager/double agent. His smile on Mana's artwork is not a warm one, it's a cunning one. Anne: She may be too young to be a playable protagonist (but again, Maria Renard fought at a young age... but I don't feel that a Maria 2.0 would be positive). Alfred: Probably the grand villain or a high-level ally of the demons. He's the one who summoned them in the first place, after all. Traditionally, arch-enemies do not have their own mode. The Mysterious Man: Maybe he will be playable as an extra, secret character, unlocked with extremely arcane conditions. Until then, I don't call him playable. But that is all subjective! Let's see how bets go once the game is finished!

It is not SNK's first outing in the genre. There was SNK Gals' Fighters for the Neo Geo Pocket, with a surprise character that doesn't belong to the cast, but it's a secret. ^^
I can sense the IMMENSE potential for fanservice in this title, like if the screenshots weren't enough. As for the characters so far, they're safe bets, for sure!

Sun and I discussed about 'stained we agreed on what's next. What Master Iga created is more than a game. He reunited a strong community, his Army of the Night, quirky and flowing well together. It is a family.
And I then add now, you are part of it. Isn't it great?

I'd be sad for those who are still addicted to Castlevania if Konami (which I dub Ko-ko now) releases a sequel in grand fanfare but ends totally disconnected to the original essence of the series (yes, like Lords of Shadow, I know). That said, I quit their vessel long ago... this is also why I joined the Army of the Night and never left since.

I don't cooking will ever be implemented in the game, as there is so much to put in already.
I feel that food is usually obtainable as is... a list of ingredients would make it fun, but much more complex... and then imagine if they were monster drops, mobs would basically end as piƱatas. *grins*

Hey Enk, here is what I feel for difficulty. I'd want the game to have various difficulty degrees, namely normal and hard, if not a ragequit one to top it all (two or three in total). I say, if people want to begin the game on hard, let them have it. Achievements will do good. No difficulty-changing would be allowed, however. Too much a challenge? Do restart the game from scratch! As for the roguelike mode, a token ending would be nice to have too. Some cool message from the devs, for all of the trouble trying and completing it. And as I can read it, that mode changes everything, from the layout to traps and enemy placement. Codes would be set apart, at the beginning of a playthough. "Do you have any special password to submit?" and so on. The CSOTN style is not really a style. It was not even indicated. I am sure that if people knew that Alucard's stats would be slightly different depending on how Richter performed, maybe would they have tried harder. It doesn't change the game that much, though, except if the player is into small digits HP, aka life hanging by a thread. Ah, a dynamic style. Shoot 'em ups generally do that, but I certainly hope the game doesn't get cheap if it goes into such a territory. It could bring sense in nightmare mode, though... The vendor mode, aka unlocking difficulty levels? It's not so much different than unlocking a difficulty level by completing a game, after all. Not very interesting. I did choose Classic mode for the poll but my final answer is this: Choose the difficulty from the start. Make further difficulty dynamic for nightmare mode. Get a prompt for codes at the start, nicely-labeled. No chances to change difficulty during progress, you choose it, you stick with it. Have a good day! P.S.: I wonder if a special mode that focuses more on sounds and dimmed music could work in a game. I am certain it will never appear in 'stained, but that would be a cool venture to explore!
