How much of the model detail comes from polygons vs skinning? I would find it interesting to see what the unskinned mesh looks like.

dareka I think the quote was "This castle is a creature of chaos. It may take many incarnations." The new environment is looking good. For whatever reason I kept thinking how empty it looked when watching the video, but I think that was just me hoping to see some enemy placement rather than just running through an empty environment.

Granted, but you must eat all the onions that you grow and you no longer like the taste of onion.
I wish for a turkey sandwich, on rye bread, with lettuce and mustard and-and I don’t want any zombie turkeys, I don’t want to turn into a turkey myself, and I don’t want any other weird surprises. You got it?

Another related question would be where the copies are distributed from. I would expect that would have an impact on what the customs fees will end up being, and should make it something that can be looked up.

Glancing over this thread. I'm seeing a lot of mention for enemies to be in pain when they die. Why not have some be at peace? Either to be happy to be sent back to their dimension or have the crystal removed from their body. I think variety in death, in more than just expressing pain, can lend a lot to making the game world feel alive. I'm with you on this. Seems kind of sadistic to want to inflict pain and agony on all the enemies in the game even if it's not real.

Not a single rose-based reference for a suggested voice line? No "A rose by any other name...", or, "This rose's thorns are sharp!"? Nothing? Okay. or even "Every rose has it's thorns..."

I'm on the fence about this at the moment. The PC version is going to vary a lot depending on it's system requirements versus the hardware each individual has. I'm hoping it doesn't take too beefy of a computer to run with all the bells and whistles turned on. The console and switch versions will be a lot more consistent since the hardware is standardized for each of the consoles.
Wasn't there supposed to be a Vita version as well? Depending on hardware requirements you could potentially run it on a laptop or other smaller device capable of running PC software for portability as well.

Hopefully there will be a quick swap for weapons so that you can fire a couple shots long range to wear your opponent down, and then switch to a melee weapon once the gap gets closed.

Maybe it's not a bug and they're foreshadowing that at some point in the game you'll have to fight your own shadow. Probably not actually, but I still think it would be a cool idea. I love the hat in this update.

Dragon_of_Dojima Angel-Corlux purifyweirdshard What if Miriam is experiencing a dream of the past (or just a flashback whilst awake), similar to Alucard's "Nightmare" in SotN, and the player chooses to kill a character within it that's not supposed to die at that point in time? ( Johannes' voice) "Miriam! You can't do that! The future will be changed! You'll create a time-paradox!!"Complete with non-standard "Game Over" music, despite it being only a dream/flashback. It would be interesting if they did this, then later in the game you came across the enemy again and needed to heed the warning from the dream.

I'm confused Pure Miriam. I don't remember calling this a lighthearted cute game, or saying anything about it's tone or costumes. I can see some of the costume related stuff that's come out so far as being maybe a little light hearted for some, but I'm assuming that there's going to be a lot of other options available for those that want something more serious that a bunny costume.

Angel-Corlux , the Geek Reply site ( LINK HERE) noticed that the Axe is casting a shadow even when it's not visible. I made a screenshot below and it is indeed true. It seems the shadow is casting like Miriam is holding the axe in front of her somehow, even through that does not happen at her model. Is it just me, or is the shadow going the wrong direction here as well? With the fire held by the statue and all the other fire in the background I'd expect the shadow to go the other way, or possibly be weirdly dispersed from all the light sources.

Have one of the Bosses humorously react to Miriam if she has a certain Joke Weapon (like a Feather Duster or Umbrella) currently equipped. "Oh no! Not THAT. My one weakness!!" Or something to that effect. ... and have it be the bosses actual weakness.
