I know some of you already have a clan you identify with, but is there any chance they add a comment section clan? I'm not really tied to any of the existing clans
How would we make that happen?

I think our best bet is to just keep trying to get @fangamers attention with the idea. Maybe we could find their direct contact info on their site and send messages that way.

well, i know Dan Moore from fangamer (he used to post in the comments) has a twitter handle: @danup. I teach at the school right next to their building, they thought I was a die-hard fan at first, pretty surprised when I mentioned I had only seen a few of their videos. We cleared all our clans with the crew based largely on the size of their subscriber base (minimum YouTube subs was generally 50k+) and their focus on metroidvania games.

... On the plus side, it sounds like clans have more to them than just a header in the credits!

I'm in the same boat. I've never been much on watching youtube groups, so unfortunately I don't know any of them. Other than the two who hosted. I might try out their channels and see who I like the best or just choose one of the weapon clans as they are fairly neutral.

I'm not going with any of the Youtubers nor Operation: Akumaclan/Dungeon because I don't like to associate myself with anyone.

I will probably end up in clan Rapier since that's where Iga placed me in swordorwhip.
