I'm just curious because most of the classic games are on Nintendo and the newer ones are on PlayStation I can see those fan groups joining in, however, Xbox is a bit of an outcast along with pc(although many pc users came over from a console.) I am personally going to get it on my pc(the 60$ physical copy) although I considered the switch version. I'm saving up to build a pc that will be done a little bit before the game potentially releases so I will want some new games on it(also mod support and higher framerates.)
Anyways what are you going to play on and what are your reasons?

I'm getting a PC version and a console version.
I switched my Xbox copy for a Switch copy,(See what I did there?!) but I get the feeling i'll end up buying additional copies for all my consoles. Especially since I pulled the trigger on an Xbox One X the other day =)

As of now, I'll go for the GOG/Steam (digital) and Vita (physical) versions.
I still am conflicted on whether of the Steam or GOG versions I would want to have, since the GOG one doesn't require any internet connection (even if Steam can go offline), offers multiple versions of the game and still allows mods, if the game offers it.
The Steam version has cards, achievements and maybe the workshop. That said, relying too much on the Steam client is annoying.
I still wonder about a game box, disc and booklet for these. I was told that there would be, but I'm still not reassured on this.
As for the Vita, I chose it because I'd want to not rely on the computer too much, have a collector's edition for myself and probably play on the go (though I would never bring a handheld console on my travels). I also do not want to invest in a current generation console... my videogames quest was supposed to end long ago, but I still continue it. That said, the Vita could have a price drop in used form in the near future, who knows?

I upgraded my slacker-backing a few times
1x Steam "physical retail"- Because of modding (fingers crossed) and the ability to play the game 20 years from now (nearly) hasslefree
1x GoG digital - In case Steam implodes or something
1x Xbox One digital - There is a shortage of (good) couch-coop games
1x Nintendo Switch physical retail (I don't have the console yet, waiting for major price-cut/bundle christmas 2018 or something) - Portability
I'm not THAT hyped for the game, but all the major game publishers made me lose faith and actual interest in videogames in the last 2 years, so I have more budget for Indie Games.
I also slacker-backed Blasphemous (because effing kickstarter credit card requirement) and I have Dead Cells (which is amazing).

Vita physical, PC digital. Vita because it's the only dedicated handheld that will get Bloodstained, and PC because it'll be prettiest to look at. Also, I don't have a Switch, PS4, or XB1, and I don't plan on getting any of them anytime soon.
