The PC version of Mighty No 9. has been complete for a while, the reason it keeps getting delayed is because they want to do a simultaneous release of all platforms and it is coming out on far too many. They stretched themselves a bit thin and it came back to bite them. Luckily Iga's team is only doing PC/PS4/XB1 so they aren't stretched very thin and they outsourced the Wii U and Vita copies to another studio. I think Iga's team will deliver on time my only real worry is will Armature deliver the Wii U/Vita versions on time.

With all the stuff they are adding I don't see them releasing "on schedule". It was tentative though and I don't mind the extra wait for an awesome game. Also what they showed us gameplay-wise pretty much amounts to a tech demo and it was stressed that alpha footage would be a loooong ways off from now let alone a playable beta.

My bet is Q4 2016. Usually beta tests are 3~5 months before the release, which is expected to be in March 2017. My greatest fear is the final version being delayed to late 2017 or even early 2018 (getting MN9 delays as reference) which has also launched the beta kinda late. But i believe the delays on that project actually will give them experience to prevent on hapening with Bloodstained. I am expecting the prequel for Q1 2016 and the Beta from Q2 to Q3 2016, i hope they don't mind releasing a short beta earlier than waiting for something more solid months later. Also i would like to see gameplay videos starting months before the Beta. If you ask me the pre-alpha thing showed during the campaimgn is not THAT far from becoming a playable beta, which means something playable could be made even up to late this year, yet i know they won't do it to assure quality. A delay is plausible and actually very likely. Now they have a lot more things to do than they imagined, considering all stretch goals, and that release date probably was set with just the core game for PC/PS4/X1 in mind. With all that, Q4 2017 sounds realistic enough. Wii U/PS Vita versions are a mystery though.

I'm surprised by the number of PC Gamers. I thought most people that buy games that are tied to nostalgia, stay on console platforms and never make the jump to PC because they don't associate PC with games or are collectors.
I got the PC GOG Disc version for personal reasons listed below. No intention to start a flame war, so if you read it, imagine a guy at a bar that's laid back and casual with a smile on his face or you could just skip if you're not curious.
PC: Because in my cynical age, I grew bitter of the ethics of Consoles. I'm concerned about it only working on a monopolized stack spec that only plays games that play nice with it's DRM by having a secret application level key. PC has some monopolized specs in it's stack (and "Secureboot") like Windows though wine exists and there's x86, but that can eventually be emulated like Macs emulated PowerPC with Rosetta when they went to Intel and it was mostly flawless, you just needed more overhead. So, that's why I chose PC, I get more freedom as long as the game is DRM free or at least the DRM is easily cracked of which segways to my next reason.
GOG: I know a lot of you guys like to collect, that's fine, but I value archiving more than collecting because if it's easily copied, it's easy preserve. I rather have the blueprints on how to make something be freely available than to own a first edition thing because people can make derivative works. (Like American McGee's Alice) While DRM-Free copies aren't blueprints per se, in games, the real bluprints are the source code and asset files, it's still a step in the right direction and I have no problem in paying for game assets that runs on an engine without the source code though DRM-free and especially open source engines put a smile on my face. (though you can't really do that with unreal engine games)
Disc: Because I really wanted the Swordwhip. I know, I'm the cancer of gaming, paying to get pre-ownership exclusive rewards like the people pre-ordering Mankind Divided of which I might get the collectors edition at the 11th hour because I'm a horrible person and I admit it. (laughs, but cries inside) The minimal price for the Swordwhip in the digital version was $60 of which is the same price to get the Disc that also includes the Swordwhip, so I was like "Eff it" and picked that up. I usually pick digital because it's cheaper and I usually only get physical if it's of deep personal significance. In that case, I usually other swag to go with it like strategy guides and artbooks.

I'm currently signed up for PS4 physical, Wii U digital. I'm pondering snagging an Xbox One copy, since those look like they'll be more rare, haha. Given my love for Symphony of the Night, though, I feel like PS4 will be the best choice for me.

Will get mine on R1 PlayStation 4! In the past, I was thinking on getting it on Steam because of crossplay. Imagine playing it on your PC with crossplay on both the PS4 and XbOne but not until they announce it exclusively on Xbox.

Just backed through Slacker Backer two days ago, and super-excited for this game!
I have a Wii U and XBox One. I'm a Nintendo brand loyalist, and generally when a game is completely cross-platform I always get the Wii U version as a result. However, the 2017 release date mades me nervous about the Wii U edition, since I think the Wii U's future is uncertain after 2016, with the NX looming. While I won't discard my Wii U, given the volatile nature of crowdfunded games I'm nervous that version could be on the chopping block, or lesser quality, if the console is fading out by then. So I got the XBox One version; I'm not a graphics snob but it will also be nice to have it on the more powerful of my two consoles. I might get the Wii U version too after the game gets a wide release.

Wii U physical for the dual screen and taking notes on the map.
If the Wii U gets cancelled, then I will go with Mac for the online play with more players.

I've held back on purchasing a third copy for a while. I originally pledged for a physical PS4 copy and PC version as well.
If it's announced that they'll be making the switch from Wii U to Nintendo Switch, my third purchase shall be a Switch copy.

Upgraded mine to the highest slacker tier just now. I hope the map is HUGE.
Both for PC, digital for Steam, and the physical for GoG. Was thinking getting it on PS4 or Vita, but I do neither own a TV nor those systems, figure I will always have at least a PC.. so.. yeaaah.
Having a small HYPE feel here atm.

Thanks for bumping this. I hadn't voted yet.
Definite Physical PS4 copy for me. Pondering a 2nd PS4 copy but this time digital.
I find it funny and depressing that, in this survey, the possibly discontinued WiiU version has three times as many votes as the Xbox One. To think that the X1 version was right there on day one and the WiiU was a $3 million stretch goal.
