I do not think you even can play with GoG players while you are on Steam, even though both is on PC. There's nothing really preventing it. That's just the way a lot of developers have done things. I used to think it was SteamPlay that tied multiplayer to Steam, but someone corrected me on that. Apparently it's more complicated than that, and stems from the fact that both Steam and GOG offer networking support and servers for multiplayer that may or may not be compatible depending on how they're implemented. |

My main will be on PS4, but since it appears that (as I predicted) the XB1 version will be rare, as well as a Japanese version of it, my collectors one that I won't open will be just that.

I put in money in the kickstarter for both the Wii-u and the PS4 versions, though I'll gladly Switch from Wii-u to Switch if it happens.

I plan on getting the main game for PS4. However I plan on getting the prequel mini game for whatever the co-existing Nintendo platform has it for the digital shop. (WiiU, should it be there, or the new Switch) I do still love me some Nintendo, and want some form of Bloodstained on whatever console it comes out on.  |

(Almost) everything surrounding yesterday's and today's Switch event has been ranging from lukewarm to a disaster. My interest in the Switch has gone nowhere but down after today. As far as Bloodstained is concerned, yes, I'd rather have them do it for the Unreal 4 capable Switch than for a WiiU that'd be dead for two years by then. But for me? I'm not liking much of what I'm seeing so I'm sticking with PS4 for this game. Yes, Zelda does look cool though. But fortunately its also coming to my WiiU so whatever. |

I had it marked for PS4 and the Vita myself. But since the Switch also has some games I was waiting for on the Vita, I am just making the switch. Maybe I'll even just change from the PS4 version to the PC version, since I had it on the PS4, hoping to get it later, but the Switch is like the Vita and PS4 in one (kinda). So, no real loss for me.

Technically not a console, but PC... via Steam.
I completed my last step in that regard, which consists in making a XBox 360 controller work on it.
If only the game was planned for XBox 360, it would have been my system of choice.
That said, PC now is fine, all of the games I got so far work flawlessly. I just hope I won't be left in the mud when my copy of Bloodstained is available (PC specs, you know?).

I've said this before and I'll say it again: Bloodstained has no business being ported to the WiiU anymore. None. And I hope Iga doesnt do it just to appease a few dozen fanboys who refuse to change their pledge to any other system. What always worries me about consoles are game and system updates (Sometimes or often for useless features).
When it comes to the Wii U, who knows when they will stop giving new software versions. It shouldn't happen too soon, but who knows with Nintendo.

I made some changes to my backer surveys to get the most out of this game.
PS4 - digital (to play)
PS4 - physical (lender disc)
PC - digital (just for beta access)
Xbox One - physical Japanese version signed (I predicted this one to be the rarest copy of the game and the most collectible in the long run.)

I'm currently planning on having in on PS4 but if the NX (I refuse to call it the Switch (too many easy puns)) is a go, I might go for it simply on the virtue that I can bring it with me and have my nephews try out an official Igavania game.
