Wow. So thoughts: NEW FREE POSTER, Kojima's art of course looks great. I'm sad for Japan, but glad you're taking steps to do what you can for them. The DLC delay is fine with me, and I may not even get to where I can use/beat that content until around that time anyway, and interestingly I think it evens things out a little how Switch backers in spite of their version's delay will get the DLC sooner than the other consoles. I'm getting a physical PC copy myself (GOG) and I think this makes the most sense for people who would want a physical PC version to begin with, as otherwise it would just more or less be a paperweight. This gives it more of a value while people can still play the game the same intended way they would have (with the key). Thanks guys for all of the above. Also, ganbare Fangamer.

I'd have preferred the physical copy earlier, honestly, slipcase and all, but it's just for collection purposes for me so I can wait a bit. But I really want those sweet rewards! I gotta have patience.

Concerning dlc and stretch content, I  guess they are going to do the same thing in 6 months to a year on console so it and all patch fixes can be on disk?  I really hope so, even if I dread spending more money in the future.

Yup, exactly this. At least in this case, it's no longer "Day-1 DLC"... I doubt it'll do much, but maybe it'll smooth at least one ruffled feather or so.

freddythemonkey To be fair, this is something a lot of fans literally asked for. It will make the final result better both from a collector's standpoint and from the standpoint of game preservation. An actual complete product, no patches or downloads needed. And in the mean time, you still get to play the game through a digital copy you'll be given even if it wasn't part of your original pledge.

Sure, I understand. I'm not complaining about it, it's just a little bummer for me. I'm used to have my games digital and when I buy something physical is just for collection value so I'd really would have liked to have the copy in my hands and savor all the quirks of the backer slipcase and such. But I do understand they're doing what have been asked and it's definitely something I can put up with.
