They announced it on E3 at around 7 PM PST, and this is also when the kickstarter was launched. This effectively gave people 5 hours for the very first day of the campaign.
They met the goal within about 8 hours, which was $2 million. On Kicktraq it lists the entire 2nd day as $2 million, so take out 1.2 out of that, and that makes +$800k for the day after the goal was met. In a matter of 29 hours, it was about $2.9 Million.

That said, if you consider the first and second day to be one day, the third day is a drastic drop at about 9% of the previous days totals.
The first two days also had only 36,000 backers for that $2.9 million. I'm not going to do the exact math, but it basically means a small amount of people gave out a lot of money. A lot more than Bloodstained backers did. This means we could see the same amount of backers on the last two days, but nowhere near the same amount of money. It's likely that any individuals who were likely to throw money at the project have all already thrown their money.
