Toei Animation really overcome itself... in bad animation. QUALITY! Couldn't agree more, why the damn lines should get thicker when they zoom the camera in some scenes? They are really slacking. Ciel, why are you a teacher in Higurashi no naku koro ni? I've never thought that someone would mention that here, Curry! BTW I like a lot of animes, but to mention some: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Steins;Gate, Mirai Nikki, Dragon Ball (in general), Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Saint Seiya, Hokuto no Ken, Sailor Moon and the list goes on...

Ciel, why are you a teacher in Higurashi no naku koro ni? I travel around the worlds, you didn't know?! Poor True Ancestor, maybe you deserve some punishment... Well, that reminds me I have Higurashi in my backlog of VNs...

^...But did you ever find enough curry in Hinamizawa?
All you need is curry to be driven insane. Not a disease that causes paranoia.
*(EDIT)*: I also like how Chie was actually a deliberate parody of Ciel from Tsukihime.

Okay, so now that the show is over, I'm going to have to recommend Rokka no Yuusha to everyone. Best show of the season for my money. It's a fantasy action/mystery, with an emphasis on the mystery. The best part is that it's actually solvable by the audience, which is something a lot of modern mysteries skip out on. Not easily solvable, but it's possible. I also love the pseudo-mesoamerican aesthetic it's got going with the architecture and all.

| Seitokai Yakuindomo
| B Gata H Kei
| Sword Art Online
| Shimoneta
| Nana
| Uchuu Kyoudai
| Log Horizon
| Watamote
| Zero no Tsukaima
| Yu Yu Hakusho
| Golden Time
| Prison School | Kanokon
| To Love-ru
| Bakuman
| RFullmetal Alchemist
| Durarara
| Code Geass
| Angel Beats
| Rosario to Vampire
| Darker than Black
| Bakemonogatari
| Kimi ni Todoke

Has anyone here ever watched Seirei no Moribito? It's on my list. I've heard it's pretty slow but it's great. I've also heard that the dub is great, which further surprises me. I'll give it a look if you do.

I'll give it a look if you do. I actually liked it the first time I watched through the whole series. The intro song is nice, too. (done by L'Arc-en-Ciel) (Edit): Just remembered that the intro song is called "SHINE".

So I was working on my backlog, and I just finished Katanagatari. Wow. The art in this show is fantastic, pretty much all of the characters are interesting, and the show is equally engaging in its comedic and serious moments, an observation that should come as no surprise to fans of the author's other major work, the Monogatari series. This is a show that I'd recommend watching slightly differently than other shows. There are 12 episodes, and each episode is 50 minutes long. Due to the way the story is spread among the episodes, rather than straight bingeing, I'd say the best way to watch this show is one episode per day. And even if you normally skip episode previews, you have to watch the preview at the end of episode 3. Highly recommend. EDIT: Almost forgot to mention that the soundtrack is top tier. The guy that composed it also did the OST for Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal, Muv-Luv Alternative and a lot of other great stuff.
