You have some nice choices and how is Mushishi? I never hear anyone talk about that so I have no idea what it is about. Also Have you seen the Madoka Magica movies? Mushishi is ... strange ... basicly this ... I dunno, scientist/paranormal investigator just goes around japan and interacts with people who are effected by Mushishi, little spirits that do numerous/countless things. But hes never the main character. Like ... hes in every episode, but rather than experience an episode from his perspective, its from the perspective of the person hes meeting in the respective episode. Its so bizarre and strange, really, you need to see it to understand it. And I've seen Rebellion, but wont see the first two since their just re-caps of the series with cut content in echange for prettyer animation. It really irritates me that a lot of key points for Madoka's character development is cut from the first film, along with Mami's Entire Backstory being COMPLETLY REMOVED from the film. Yeah, no, they shouldn't have even made those movies. |

Yeah, no, they shouldn't have even made those movies. Well to be fair the first movie does try to recap the first 8 episodes in 130 minutes. But the second movie does the last 4 episodes in 110 minutes which does give it extra time to expand on that part at least. I feel it would have been better if they at least did one more recap movie to atleast make it 4 episodes for each allowing more time for the the story to be expanded. But I do agree with you that they shouldn't have been made if they weren't planning to at least put in the whole plot and key points. |

I've yet to watch the 2nd season of Mushishi, and I have watched all three Madoka Movies. They're all good, but the first two really is just recap. Which is fine because the time between me watching the Madoka TV anime, and the movies was quite long.

When I was making my own list, I realized that I probably should get myanimelist so that I won't forget the few shows or books that I did watch.(or plan to watch)
It was a long process of fighting my bad memory, but I like the results.
Right now I'm watching Turn A Gundam and I can barely keep up with what's going on. I'm about 6 episodes in.

I've gotta say, when I first obtained the 'Whipsword' in Aria of Sorrow, and now we have one (the "Sword-Whip") in Bloodstained...I was automatically reminded of Isabella Valentine. This is a fine piece of fan-art. I have the distinct feeling I've seen this image on Deviant-Art before, though I seem to have forgotten to add it to my Favorites. |
