I sent my question/request via the "ask a question" function of the Kickstarter to get the Bloodstained folks' attention, but for visibility and to lobby for it (and also as I'm not sure entirely who to reach out to anyway), I thought I'd post here to get this rolling some more.

I got an e-mail back from the Chief Operating Officer about this! Unfortunately, it does sound from the last podcast that Igarashi won't be travelling to things as much in the near future, but maybe either this is far enough out (Feb. 18-21) that he could make it OR other folks from the team, Inti, Fangamer or otherwise could represent:

Thanks so much for your suggestion! We'll see what we can do on our end, though it's often tough for us to pull in guests from japan (Do you know the name of the staffer you talked to?). We can only bring so many international guests this year, and have likely already used all available budget on some plans we already had in the works before you had contacted us. There may be a bit of crossover in those guests, though, so we may be able to squeeze SOMETHING out if we're lucky. Do you know who you reached out to at the Bloodstained team? Have they replied to you yet?

Anyway, again, I'd love to see it happen as MAGfest is a core gaming-centric event of next year, likely some 20,000 attendees at the illustrious Gaylord National Resort. Seriously, it's pretty illustrious, look at it:

Well, at tthis point I think I've bothered a sufficient amount of people with information and we will wait.

MAGfest is the original home of the speedrunning community (where Games Done Quick started), a game music con and a great place for indies. I loved it last year for the huge arcade room (250 or so machines), console area and concerts.

Inti Creates sound team/Yamada will be at MAGfest after all! I don't see anything specifically Bloodstained here, but man there might still be, and this is cool enough in itself. Wow. I'd seen Yamada tweet about Gunvolt concerts on Twitter, no idea they'd be coming here!

edit: Do note it's not just Gunvolt stuff, but a 20th anniversary set for Inti. That means quite a bit of Mega Man.
