Inti Creates to be at MAGfest! (02/18-21/16)

Sorry to double post, but I have something fairly important I wanted to mention and editing doesn't make the thread recent, so...

TREAT FOR YAMADA/INTI:

In similar fashion to Operation: Donut, I'm planning on taking a custom small Bloodstained cake from a local bakery to Yamada and whoever else from Inti there that might be involved with the game. They did a cake for me last year that was pretty good, so I'm fairly confident they can do a good job. This will be my own thing, but I intend to present it as from us, the community. It's an honor in itself to be able to do it, so yeah. Hopefully he is at a signing table or some other place where I can approach and present him with it D:

I have a pretty good idea of what I want it to be/look like, but I'll take suggestions too.

Hey, will do. XombieMike, still early, but it'd be cool to have an image like the one you made for the donuts with just a bit of a different cake than the original - I'm thinking about essentially a red velvet cake with...white icing and a stained glass rose on top. I remember they said they had heart sprinkles, so I might ask them to use those as well haha.

Anybody else willing to take a shot at an image like that would be a big help, too.

The first thing I thought when I saw that was "oh no, he's going to get lynched at MagFest"

The next thing I thought was if he'd get angry if I asked him to sign a copy of Mega Man X6

Brainiac and any others, looks like I'll be trying to present this to Yamada at about 11 PM on Friday at the "Mega Man Zero composers" atuograph table. I'll be getting there Thursday night, but looks like not in time for the Gunvolt concert/signing, unfortunately.

Matt Papa told me on Twitter just now he'll be there, so he'll be able to translate and get the point across. I don't have anything formally prepared for a message, probably just "Cursed Orphan is great! Thank you for being part of the team! Have a cake! Matt can eat it, too!"

Actually...they changed the schedule. That Mighty no. 9 concert/MN9 signing wasn't on the schedule at all before, lol. There was initially a "Pending" slot Friday night, so I guess they moved MMZ to Saturday and are doing MN9 on Friday instead.

So, hm...yeah, I suppose we could hit either. What I'm bringing should keep/still be fresh by Saturday if we need to wait until then. Bloodstained has as much to do with MN9 as it does MMZ (i.e. nothing lol), so I guess it could go both ways. What do you all think?

As long as it's 11 PM either Friday or Saturday, I'm cool either way. The 10 PM Thursday Gunvolt signing is the one I might have to pass on to enjoy the concerts, but it sounds like you won't be there in time for that one.

I unironically love X6 though, so I'm just afraid that I might get punched in the face, haha.

I hear all this talk about Megaman X6 and I will say this much
Although the series should have ended with Megaman X5,number 6 is still a saint compared to Megaman X7 with some of the worst gameplay and dubbing voices I ever cringed upon

It's not so much that it's one of his less popular works, it's that it's not one of his works hahaha. From what I understand, he had intended for the story/continuity to end with X5, but we all know how that goes. I don't take the story of those games too seriously anyway, basically every character except Rock/X dies and comes back every game.

I never even played X7 because of all I heard about it. X8 wasn't bad at all, though.
