As a collector of things, I absolutely prefer physical copy of this game. I wonder what happened to the world.. I know it is easy to obtain and own a digital copy, but it's not visible to anyone except yourself. I'm using this naive logic of a collector that you need to physically feel something to feel like owning it.

Oh how I miss the old times..

Not according to the $100 Alchemist's Treasure pledge level.

Physical game AND physical soundtrack plus a few other feelies and the credits listing was enough for me to justify that pledge.

All my PC games are digital and, although I'd like a physical copy for PC, it should be easier to simply receive a code for both the game and beta. Now to figure out whether I want the Steam or GOG version... As for the console version (will be PS4), since I already have some physical games, it will go along nicely with them.

I'd say it depends on which service/platform you use more. I'm going with Steam because I use it more often and I like having as many games in my library as possible in one place. With GOG, one of the biggest draws is that it's DRM-free and you can do whatever you want with your digital games, including installing them to discs. You can also download a game through GOG and import it into your Steam library, BUT I'm not sure if that will grant you access to Steam features like trading cards, achievements, or Steam Workshop if the game is already available through Steam. Maybe someone who's more familiar with GOG than I am can chime in.
