Some kind of prosthetic, if I had to guess. My basis comes from observing the area around his right shoulder, how the metallic part sticks so close to his skin, with pretty much no gap. One of the few hypotheses I have is that it's the arm of a demon, perhaps mechanical, that he had grafted in place of his original right arm. If it was, was it his goal, or was it due to circumstances? What if it's an alchemical arm? And no, I don't mean like FMA....well, sorta, but the demon arm is a good theory, definitely explains the wards. Also, Mike, love the Leon siggy, talk about the first Belmont ever =P Really hope we get lots of nice little references to the old series. |

I LOVE this Demon Hunter design! I wonder... I remember reading somewhere that Igarashi originally planned to have a male protagonist before creating Miriam... Could this be it? I can hardly wait to learn more in the next Kickstarter update! I hope so! This character seems to be my favourite! I do like Myriam, not as much as Shanoa, but it is still too early to tell. I am sure you mentioned this..if this character is the protagonist of the prequel, maybe he loses his arm there. I do hope he is playable in the both prequel and the main game  ? |

If this is true and he is a heavy hitter type, that'd be fantastic. That said, all typical "I'm missing body parts = hardcore" thing going on here, he does have seals allover his arm and a "missing" or sealed eye. That's a good indication of loss and willingness to continue forward. If it is determination, I'd say you're more likely to see base line prosthetics with sane ideas but if its rage or anger based expect the logic book to be thrown out the window so fast it would make lightspeed seem like a leisurely stroll by snail.

anybody else notice thats a european military coat? he has elements of both japanese samurai and european officer, hes got horrific scars and had his arm replaced by some armored arm thats on a ball joint and attached to some filligreed plate on his shoulder, and hes covered in ofuda with the same pattern (can anyone translate?), hes wielding chronos sword >P, and hes got a scruffy traveller look, definitely some tragic past to his expressions, i think hell have a playstyle similar to Richter and AoS Julius, high mobility high speed asswhuppin in a keg

This new guy actually reminds me of Victor Belmont from Lords of Shadow 2 as well, what with the beard and eye injury and all. That was a pretty cool character. Too bad we never got to play as him.
