It's alright Dangamer, you don't have to confirm anything! However, do you perhaps have any guess as to the character's background that you want to throw? I'll go even futher in my hypothesis. Kensei (I'm naming him that) at that time didn't even know about Gebel and his situation. What he knows is that there is a great evil in that place and he came here to defeat it, even if it cost part of his humanity. He encounters Miriam, who he treats as an enemy at first because she wants to protect "the master of this castle," and so they clash. Much later he understands that Gebel is in fact possessed by the magi-crystals and, although he cannot completely save him, tells her he can at least bring him to reason. True route: Kensei finds a way to "purify" Gebel, with the help of Miriam, by infusing him with his own demonic power which somehow negates a bit of the effect from the magi-crystals. Then the true evil appears, the one controlling the magi-crystals' power and Gebel, the... hum... EVIL MAGI-CRYSTAL LORD. And then BAM, you get an inverted castle, and everything is crystalised. |

I'm going to guess the arm has a demon sealed inside, judging by the talismans covering parts of it. Or perhaps the arm itself is a demon, and he grafted it onto himself for whatever reason.

It was great to see Iga again and with his legendary whip  The character looks cool, Iga said that he is still working on him so we will probably see changes on the desing. He uses dual swords so maybe we will see dual wielding after all. |

I was hoping for a more bishonen character to be revealed since I really want a character similar to Alucard to be playable in this, but he does still look pretty cool so I'll get over it if we do not get one.

I dunno, I feel like Johannes and Gebel have the bishe department covered with their hair and slender bodies. Maybe it turns out the new character is playable and has a style similar to Alucard's. |

If the third characters is wielding swords like miriam wouldnt that be lackluster?
I know miriam can have whips, and a sword, but if this guy can only wield swords id be disapointed a bit, I hope he has a unique combat mechanic beside dual wielding.
As for his looks he looks good, I dont know maybe the overused stickers is putting me a bit off i think.

The crowd however where very akward silent, maybe if you notice that the front row of people wear "green xbox one" shirts. Probebly drones to "aplaud" whenever a xbox representitve makes a statement/anouncement. |

Miriam may have a similar playstyle to Iga's other games, but something to differentiate this character could be he has more of a knockback effect in his blows, has more capabilities for aerial combat or depends more on his prosthesis/armour for his attacks.
For the prosthesis it could be something like he shoots an enchanted bullet to stun the enemy, to finish it off with his sword. Or vice versa.

I LOVE this Demon Hunter design! I wonder... I remember reading somewhere that Igarashi originally planned to have a male protagonist before creating Miriam... Could this be it? I can hardly wait to learn more in the next Kickstarter update!

I think it's part of Microsoft's push to support Windows 10 for gaming and court the PC crowd. "Hey, you know that game you like? How would you like to play it on a PC where it runs better, AND you keep the data from the Xbone version!" Plus, Sony's been doing the same with Vita PS3/PS4 cross-buy. When in Rome... Well I'm certainly glad they have their priorities straight. Concerning the Red Sword Guy (we're going with that, right?), maybe he didn't ask for this.
Can't confirm this yet—I won't know for sure until I get the dev update—but I believe IGA will be talking a little more about this character in our next Kickstarter post. Lemme guess, the update is pending because nobody can think of a name. Ahh, that's perfect. Red Sword Guy. Akatoko. Okay, that's more like Red Sword Kid.  |

I just did a gladiator job quest in FFXIV and found this guy who looks just like the new Bloodstained character lol. That's exactly who i was reminded of at first, haha. I too thought of him first. |

Neat, I like his coat! My guesses are that he's a heavy attack dealer type character, focusing on strength with a side of demonic power. At least that's what the seals on his right arm, eye and sword evoke to me. What I'm interested in knowing is what he's doing there, in England. That was the setting right? But since his overall feel seems to stem from Japan, what would be his business with the magi-crystal curse, hmm... All in all, I like his design. I can't help but feel that Iga has a thing for possessed characters, if he is indeed. Good eye for details^^ Everyone just see his sealed arm but the sealed eye and blade are also interesting;) Maybe he replaced lost bodyparts from his battles with parts from demon corpses OR hunting them for collecting godlike abilities!! His eye is the most interesting thing for me^^ XombieMike, did that Jacob Collins guy really blame IGA and Ben Judd on KS for getting Microsoft crossplay-support? If it´s that way, aren´t Sony the ones to blame for not doing the same? For me a present from Microsoft, IGA didn´t asked and had to pay for, is really nice of them or not? The only thing thats important, is that IGA uses all the KS and Paypal money for doing what we´ve backed for, his vision of Bloodstained! |
