 Ok iam not the type of guy to make threads but i had to since no one esle did for this, First off we are getting this movie in a few days but we have a very good chance for funimation to Bring over Dragon ball Super as well. I know for many like my self this is the greatest thing to happen (atleast to me) Dragon ball is making a come back and its going to be so much better then GT(eww) I dunno about you guys but iam going to buy tickets soon, one theater in my area is going to show it on the 6th and i plan to be there. i have stayed away from youtube videos showing the whole movie, i do wonder if they will finish kai now since toonami now shows its on air. I atleast hope they do, if it was not for dragon ball z i would have never gotten into anime. By the way Arcueid Brunestud did you ever see the ocean dub on tv back in the day? granted it did not go on long but i saw that before funimation got control.

I can't remember if it was Ocean or Funimation dub honestly. HOWEVER, and be amazed, I do own the whole Saiyan, and Namek saga on VHS. It's all Ocean dub. I also have Ginyu and Frieza saga on VHS. I think those are the Funimation dub. If you line up the boxes, they form a picture. Pretty neat. |

It started with ocean doing the dub till the last Ocean/Saban dubbed episode Goku... Super Saiyan?, the dubing changed a bunch in the US but here is a list of the changes over the years dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Ocean_Group_dubs This is for the new people that never got to see this, check this old bad boy out. |

It is insane how big anime exploded in the US after Dragon ball z, i will never forget the first frieza voice actor she nailed it (new actor is great too)
The ocean dub really seems like a fansub when you compare it to the redub but it still has its charm.

But you have to check to see if you have one showing in your area, i only have two showings the 4th and the 5th both at 7pm. Not every theater will carry this movie but it see like AMCtheaters are one of the big shots showing it in a bunch of states.

got my tickets after the post up there now i just have to plan on how early to go, when i went to see avengers 2 i got okay seats and that was like 25 mins before the showing but not the best seats. So i will plan this out but a hour before the showing seems like the best idea.
Not much longer before the preview for the movie on toonami.
