It's 7/1, everybody! The forum is already structured for how we'll handle game content talk moving forward. For more info, see Mike's earlier post. This thread has now played out - have fun! So uh... the forum is undergoing some MAJOR thread organizational changes. Spoilers are now ok to post in general with the following important considerations: 1. Keep spoilers out of thread titles! 2. Keep spoilers in spoiler tags no matter where you are. People browsing the "recent posts" section should know that's dangerous for spoilers, but it is polite to do so. I don't plan on taking moderation action for the lack of spoiler tags. The use of black text will not work well for each user. Yes, that is a good solution for people who use the default theme, but most themes and mobile will have problems with black text either being too readable or unreadable unless selecting, and that isn't always easy with a phone/tablet. |

New Game Plus: I noticed you can go directly from Bloodless to Forbidden Underground Waterway to Hidden Desert (skipping Alfred) and on to the Inferno Cave, and then basically enter the boss room from the back and proceed in the wrong direction - provided you have a fully upgraded reflection ray to move around. And then from there you can go to the Secret Sorcery Lab and enter the supposed cutscene with dominique and Alfred from the back, except they just stand there and do nothing.  I wonder if you can skip Bloodless and go into the fountain with the reflection ray or Aqua Stream (which is carried over) as well? Maybe you actually have to stand at the bottom, so it's not possible? Edit: And the cutscene remains waiting there, even if you go there right before the final boss! |

Oh hadn't seen that.
And that cutscene just stays there waiting if you don't trigger it, so one can basically beat the game, and then go there to trigger it afterwards. Even though Alfred is dead at that point. |
