ovenkitty , the standard edition PS4 and Switch are just going to run continuously until the cutoff date (though the Switch orders will be restricted to completing the next thousand units as of 6 PM on March 29th). It's the Classic Editions that are sold out on their initial batches (along with the Vita regular edition as well).

PS4 Classic Edition of Bloodstained Curse of the Moon was the last to sell out, Vita sold out in a min, and Switch in like 4 mins........ Was it good for you guys too? lol Oh yeah! I jumped on a Vita copy, because I thought that since it was 1 per person that it would take longer to sell out (assuming that most people would put 2 in their cart for the others.) Guess I was wrong if Vita sold out the quickest, lol.. Oh well, I still ended up snagging Classic editions for both Vita and PS4. |

All collector editions sold out in <5 minutes, Vita being the fastest at about maybe 1.5 mins ;p Switch might have went sooner than that, I couldn't watch all the pages haha Remember that these open again later today at 6 PM EST, and use this timing as a guide to prepare if you missed it Sounds very much like how this morning went then haha |

djtanngIt's a collector thing, the Vita console is dead, and in the least demand of the 3 consoles, which ironically makes it more valuable to have from the collector's standpoint. (dumb logic I know) That's why they limited it to one purchase, cause they wanted to make sure that the people that were actually buying it for themselves actually had a chance from the vultures that just wanted to resell it.

Actually, the Switch versions were originally listed as expected for late June due to the time needed for Switch cartridge manufacture. I think some of the Classic Editions may have been similarly slated, but all non-Switch versions are listed for May at this point, so congrats to the early recipients.
Regardless, according to LRG's Production Updates and Shipping Room, all of the various standard editions are indeed shipping now. The various Classic Editions are listed as "Currently in manufacturing, shipping dates TBA."

On that note the cover art and the card it comes with are gorgeous, but I'm disappointed in the booklet. It's just a copy paste of the in-game text crawl with some character profiles rather than a full blown instruction book, which I thought was kind of Limited Run's whole schtick. |

I saw that, tav7623 . I just wasn't sure if it was two versions or different ending themes with the same name (since one specified being for the Normal Ending). XombieMike 's playlist has multiple ending themes collected from the various YouTube uploaders, none of which have the OST names for obvious reasons. Feel free to let us know how everything matches up.
Also, I would ask anyone with the album to consider uploading the Game Over music track to YouTube; it's the only one that was never available on its own as far as I could find.
EDIT: My memory has at last been sparked. To quote what I posted in the Shoutbox:
Oh, I got it; I remember now. It's the "intro" portion used in certain endings. The normal and bad endings use the same ending music, as do Nightmare and all runs save one ignoring all allies. HOWEVER, those runs add an introductory segment. That segment also leads into the ending music for a Zangetsu ignores all solo run which is a DIFFERENT ending theme. We didn't bother looking for that music for the various runs since that intro section was included with the "Nightmare's End" music. You can see examples of all those ending variants here. I remember talking to XombieMike about this back when the tracks were first being uploaded; it had just LONG slipped my mind in the time since. Going by what tav7623 said about the length difference, I presume After the Nightmare is (obviously) the version used when completing Nightmare Mode while After the Nightmare -Normal End ver.- is the one you get for the various alternate Zangetsu endings. |
