This sucks that they couldn't have worked this into the backers somehow, but at least it is possible to have a physical edition now. Batch one and batch two of the CE both on the same day? It's definitely a first come, first served setup. Some local (non-corporate) stores near you might order copies to carry. I have one such place near me...
Yeah it'd be hard to build this into the KS CE somehow, since that's all about RotN and these are separate publishers. Already quite a lot of packaging and extras included as it is...
What we don't know/will have to find out is if the CotM OST is included in the KS collection's, but I'm not expecting it there myself.

VampireAlso, on Reddit these guys replied to me saying that the standard editions for PS4 and Switch would have 2 weeks of open pre-orders (not Vita). Collector's will be open and shut that Friday at 10 and 6 EST.

Thanks for the heads up purifyweirdshard It’s releasing almost a year after the game originally came out, it’s not being given for free to anyone (unlike digital CotM to us backers) and there’s no way in hell it’ll ever come out costing the same stupidly low price that CotM came out with (only $10). So yeah a year early and for “free”? I’m satisfied with how we were treated. It’s also crazy to me that the freaking Vita, that’s for all intents and purposes dead and discontinued, is getting a physical CotM versión and not the Xbox One. Just how unpopular are these games on Microsoft’s console? |

The collector is pretty sweet. I am kinda unfamiliar with Limited Run though, as they do very interesting stuff but I assumed that shipping to Europe would always be quite pricey so I never actually bought anything.
I hope they'll not be sold out in an instant. I'd like to add it to my Castlevania collection.

Looking forward to getting this game in physical format. Wasn't a big fan of it having DRM / being digital only to begin with so this is great news indeed.

Aztec I really wasn't trying to piss on anyone or complain, I just think it's a shame that physical copies couldn't have been secured way back when. I don't know about you, but I payed $300 to secure my "free" copy  and no I did not get it early, I got it a month or so after everyone else had it. (Thank Inti) So I don't really subscribe to the school of thought that I got anything for free. As far as pricing goes I wasn't really dwelling on that I just think it would've been nice to secured physical copies for backers, thats all. I'm not mad at anyone though It's also a shame that the Collector's Edition is going to be such a.... "trample over everyone else to get it item" I guess I'll say. I'm sure there are money issues and what not but it's just a shame that so few will get to enjoy it that gorgeous box art alone is epic. Honestly yea there really isn't much of an Xbox One crowd for this game, Castlevania's have always leaned towards Sony and Nintendo, and Microsoft platforms have always been an afterthought, thats largely cause the audience just isn't there, different crowd and what not. Also I suppose Microsoft being an American company and Xbox never really selling well in Japan dosent improve the interplay between Iga/Konami and Microsoft. freddythemonkey The Collector's Edition seems like it will only be available for one day and in two batches at 10AM and 6PM respectively on the 15 Eastern time in the USA. After that I imagine the only way to get them will be through scalpers.. but I'm just guessing. Regardless if you plan on trying to get them I'd make an account and plan out how you will pay for it beforehand, they have Paypal and a couple other options I believe.

Before I lost my psn I played a good amount of the prequel game...you cant imagine how bad it feels losing all your digital including your free monthly psn games

I really wish this had a PC version! I'm quite late to the party playing this game and only finished it last week (so far have seen 5 of the 6 endings). Inti Creates poured plenty of TLC in this game and it's nice to see it get a physical release. I'm downright envious of console owners at the moment  . |

Vampire Oh don't worry I've no doubt that Inti will get their cut of the profits from Limited Run. ClearI think Limited Runs whole deal is that they make very limited runs of these products, once there gone... thats it forever. They have a whole list of games that are sold out that they keep listed for historical sake.

And of course Inti/Iga will get their cut from every copy sold through Limited Run. That’s a given. |

hyugakojiro the regular edition is definitely an option. These days I rarely want to have a physical edition because I'm so used to digital and its convenience, but I've been trying to gather a complete Castlevania collection for years (original games, special editions, merch etc.) and Bloodstained is in a way part of that series so I'd like to own CotM physically one way or the other. Preferably the collector because that's kinda my whole point for getting it, but I'll adapt to what I can purchase. roguedragon05 yeah, I'll try to do so. Luckily those batch will go live at a rather comfortable time for me here in Italy so I'll try to secure a copy.

I really wish this had a PC version! Even if there were a PC physical edition, it would just be a Steam installer since...
Wasn't a big fan of it having DRM / being digital only to begin with so this is great news indeed. ...Inti won't let the game have at least the protection of Steam or console restriction. |
