Info on Reddit appears to say the preorder email sent to LRG faithful says only the Switch version will be at Best Buy, however.

Just thought I'd mention this here, of the Classic Editions... (Guess they are not collector's editions after all.)
Switch: there will be 3,000 made available worldwide and only 2 per customer max and are expected late June
PS4: will have 1,500 and two per customer
PS Vita: will have 1,500 and one per customer
PS4 and Vita are expected to ship in May
Switch and PS4 Standards don't seem to have many restrictions placed upon them so far as how many will be made or can be ordered, only that you'll have till the end of March to order them.
Standard Vita: 2,000 and only one per customer

Yep, all of the Classic Editions (as well as the Vita standard) are already out of stock. Next chance in less than 8 hours. After that, it depends on whether or not Best Buy gets Classic Editions alongside standard versions.

All collector editions sold out in <5 minutes, Vita being the fastest at about maybe 1.5 mins ;p
Switch might have went sooner than that, I couldn't watch all the pages haha

I probably could have grabbed one if I'd moved quickly; I got into the checkout screen but didn't bother. As I've said, I can't justify that price to myself. Now standard price for the Classic Edition, THAT I could probably accept. But without the Tom duBois artwork and the physical soundtrack, I'm fine with what I've already gotten as a backer.

freddythemonkey I believe it's something of the norm for limited run, kinda their business model. Brainiac Give it another shot this eve man! You'll lament that empty spot on your gaming shelf alot longer then you will that empty spot in your wallet.

Not at that price. I'm not even willing to pay that for the Crash/Spyro combo pack I've been eyeing. Below $30 with the art and soundtrack and I'd consider it. If someone wants to give up just the soundtrack (presuming it has its own case/sleeve/something), I'm amenable. But just under $60 with tax? Not happening.

BrainiacI hope you will be able to buy it in the next run. I can’t see myself part from the soundtrack, sorry, I love them and I consider my Castlevania soundtracks a treasure. I got this pack for the soundtrack and poster. My apartmant is full of nicely framed Castlevania posters. Those Japanese original posters are very expensive nowadays.

Actually...does anybody want a copy of Hole New World and its NES cartridge soundtrack? If enough people want in on the various copies and are willing to pay a few extra bucks to offset my personal costs (plus secondary shipping) and not have to worry about getting in themselves, I would consider plunking down for the megabundle with the knowledge everything but one Classic Edition copy is sold to others.

I was in the checkout the first 10 seconds it went live. The PayPal screen locked up and when it refreshed, all was sold out.  I just wanted the soundtrack.. EDIT: Snagged me both a Vita and PS4 Classic editions during the second wave!  |
