Signature Guide

So you want to know how to make your signature look nice and flashy with pictures and links, but you don't know how? Read this guide and you'll be a pro in no time.
Note: This guide can also be used for regular everyday posting.

First, go to your , and click . Click the tab which is between and . Scroll down to where it says Signature. The white box directly below is where you'll be putting your pictures, and links.

Pictures

Let's say you found a picture you like while browsing Google images, and you want to show it off in your signature. We'll use this image as an example:

First, right click the image, then click "Copy Image Location". Now that the URL of that image is copied, go into your signature box, and type in

This will make the image appear in your signature. Done!

If you want to make your image aligned to the center, or right corner, type this in.


Links

You want to add links to your signature, but don't want it to look ugly like this? www.kickstarter.com/profile/arcueidbrunestud/comments
Here's how you can change that. Just type this:
If done correctly, it should look like this: Whatever you want to say
Simple, no?

If you want to have it aligned to the center, or right corner, the same steps apply. Refer to the Pictures guide above.

Combining Pictures with Links

So now you know how to put pictures, and links into your signature. But did you know you could make your picture link to something too? Here's how to do it.
Type:

So let's say I wanted to make the SOTN image from earlier link to this forum. I would type:

Secret: Randomized Signature Image
Many of you might not know this, so I'll divulge something I've been using for quite some time now. How to randomize your signature! Or more precisely, how to make your signature's image change into another image randomly. It will change randomly whenever you refresh the page.

The key is this site: SignAvatar - Random Avatar and Signature Hosting

You create an account on that site, and add whatever image you'd like into your customized signature. As many as 500 can be used! After you're done, it will give you an URL for you to use. Use it like you would an image's url. My URL is signavatar.com/34740_s.gif. So if I do the image brackets... it'll show up here.


If you're curious, the characters that appear in this image are my favorite characters of all time(subject to change).
