You know what the best thing to wake up to on your halloween after a long graveyard shift at work? Finding out that your Windows 7 is broken, so you have to reinstall windows, the drivers, the browsers, the updates, and more. I'm still doing this while using my laptop with Somecallmejohnny videos to calm me down.

I had a better experience with my meds today. My heartbeat didn't feel as intense and my body didn't have as strong of a tingling feeling. I also bought a birthday present for a family member, started marathoning the 2008-2014 Star Wars Clone Wars series because I felt like watching it again before Episode 7 comes out, and sampled a handful of games I got with old Humble Bundles to see if there was anything I was interested in so I could manage/downsize/find something worth adding to my gaming backlog.

This one does have a tail...but I felt "naked" without my space-pharaoh attire. (Yes, that's me in the photo. I think we're going to need a better camera.)  |

I was talking with my dad today and since we're both big Star Wars fans, I wanted to hear what his opinion of the "Jar-Jar was manipulating everyone" theory was. It went like this:
"Hey, have you heard the new Star Wars theory about Jar-Jar Binks that's been floating around?"
"It's not something dumb like he's actually a Sith Lord or something, is it?"
"Actually..."
And then he burst out laughing.
I went into some of the details of the theory and people's reactions. He absolutely hates it. I think it's hilarious and all the fans trying to dig up more proof to support it feels like being in the scene from Black Dynamite where everyone tries to decode the hidden message.

This Jar Jar theory? np.reddit.com/r/StarWars/comments/3qvj6w/theory_jar_jar_binks_was_a_trained_force_user/People digging up 'proof' that Jar Jar was the mastermind all along just makes me chuckle. Of course, we all know that Jar Jar Binks is both a good guy and the most awesomest and irreplaceable ally ever. He's better then you, admit it. Jar Jar is obviously what made the prequel series watchable, clearly if the story revolved around Binks the story would have been better. Really, while Jar Jar Binks had some good comedy bits, he really dragged things down. Though the hate on him generally strikes me as ridiculous. Which ultimately makes Binks a character I like in an ironic fashion. ("So bad it's good" logic for liking him.) As for my day, I spent some time toying around with everything that came with Super Mario Maker's update, and created a few courses of my own. There's still some things I'd like to see added, like slopes, moving snake blocks, Blarggs, some other enemies, etc. Also, the people who make coin arrows that lead you into bottomless pits are the most evil and vile individuals the human race has ever produced. |

That's the one. I don't think it's hilarious in a laugh-out-loud way, but more of a "this is so ridiculous and wild, I want to see where this goes!" way. I can see it working if Jar-Jar was playing the fool in Episode 1, revealed as the bad guy in Episode 2 instead of using Count Dooku and had a different actor record lines for his "true" persona, and filled the role General Grievous played in Episode 3. But at the same time, it's just a fun thing. |

Long day, also a hectic day at work. Came home to some minor drama. I've come to a realization that I should probably move far away and basically leave the area. Cut a tie or two. *sigh*
I'll probably get over it later, but the entitlement at home is starting to become bothersome. Oh well.
Hope everyone is doing ok. I donated to Indivisible. I'm just chilling at home on my day off. All will be good, I'll make sure of that.

Birthday today. Decided to start my morning by watching the rest of season 1 of Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated. Great stuff, I'm actually impressed. Though what really impressed me was Jin-Roh. I watched that after Scooby for the very first time. Phenomenal film.

 One of my cats died tonight... His name was Tweek, and he was an orange-tabby cat with a white chest & paws. He loved going outside and wandering the neighborhood, and he always proved to be car-smart...but tonight, I heard the man who lived across the street start his car, and then another one came speeding by. He came over to my front gate and told me about Tweek. He thought that my cat was hiding underneath his car, only to be scared by it starting and running out to the street...just when that other car came by. He was a great cat, very nice, and never bit anyone or fought with other cats...even the veterinarian called him "the epitome of a good cat". This must be a nightmare. This can't be real...he didn't deserve this. Tweek's death will haunt me for the rest of my life...just like after Berlioz and Mork died. They were a black short-hair cat and a white German Shepherd-dog, respectively. I'm never going to forget you, old buddy. T_T
