It seems Might No.9 Retail version may have been delayedIt's still on time for Steam though. It may be irrelevant to whatever Inafune is trying to do at this moment, but just be wary of who you're funding. Here's to hoping for another quality MML in some form or another. That's just going to add massive amounts of fuel to the fire.....

If they are desperate enough Anything can happen The thing is if they do that Kickstarter will jump in and remove them from the site, another game years ago tried the same thing to get the funding without having to redo their campaign. Plus if they do that and get caught if they think the press has been unfair with them now, then they will really hate them after the fact. I can still see FUZE throwing down a last-minute donation despite all the potential bad press due to how poorly handled the campaign was. I don't think they're really concerned (or aware) of the consequences. "Surprise, we reached the last stretch goals! Thank you us, I mean, backers!"

If they really do it then everything people said about Keiji Inafune is true but not only that, he will go from he seems to be a con artist to he really is one. Forget the fact that now FUZE would be the one doing it but perception is everything. I can not speak for everyone here but if this does happen you can count on me never supporting this guy with anything in the future or people that work with him and that goes for even IGA, sorry but the last game to try this little trick got dumped on by the press after the fact but if someone as big as Keiji Inafune to do it is alot worse(even if fuze is caught doing it, the results are the same)

Do we know if Inafune asked publishers or investors to fund Red Ash before going to Kickstarter?

Well, today's the day of reckoning! Yaaaay! The anime got funded! This campaign was much better than the game's campaign and I am glad to see it get funded so animators have something to work on. The game is not showing signs of Fuze or any other suspicious people giving a large last-minute donation out of the blue! (Update: There was $21,000 in last-day donations.) Jim Sterling also made a Jimquisition video about how the campaign was handled. He pretty much summarized everything that's already been said about the campaign, but also listed Bloodstained and Yooka-Laylee as examples of transparency done right.

They didn't even bother to give an update in the last 2 days.
Inafune sure knows how to show just how much he cares.

I hope the Red Ash devs pull a Divekick and find a way to honor backer pledges even though the game got picked up by a publisher. Yes, Divekick's campaign got cancelled when they got picked up instead of going to the end, but it's still a nice gesture to the people who believed in the game.

Just like Jim Sterling said, Inafune's namesake has reached it's credit limit. Way to mess everything up dude (。ŏ_ŏ)

I wouldn't hold my breath for that one. I'm not expecting it either given how mismanaged the campaign was, but I think it'd be a classy move on Comcept's part and a good way of restoring people's faith in them. Just like Jim Sterling said, Inafune's namesake has reached it's credit limit. Way to mess everything up dude (。ŏ_ŏ) I prefer to think of it as a learning opportunity. Yeah, Inafune screwed the pooch on this one and his reputation has been damaged. But no one ever really knows until they try, and now he knows what to avoid doing.

Inafune's ego got the best of him, let's indeed hope he learns from this, and if should ever attempt another KS.. Let's hope his passion is in the game.

Im glad for the anime, the only sin of Studio 4C was to use Inafunes account because they managed the campaing completely different with constant updates and cool rewards and they have not done anything wrong to be blamed with, so Im happy for the succes of the anime.

I raise you to that Inafune needs lessons of humility from Iga That's what I love about IGA, he's so humble and passionate. While I'm not knocking Inafune as a person, but his ego needs to deflate a little.

MN9 was supposed to be Inafune's dream like Iga with Bloodstained, but then he inmediately started looking into other projects like other games, anime and live action movies, while I see Iga completely concentrated on making Bloodstained the best that it can be.

I think even an interview with Inafune he said it wasn't unusual for him to be doing 4-5 projects at once. What you just said is very much in sync with his statement on his timetable.
