He's a good businessman?
Getting strong armed out of Capcom, garnering all this negative publicity and only managing to land a publisher that no one has ever heard of aren't really the traits of a good businessman.

I've been following the campaign and wow... what a mess. Vague description, bad timing with the July 4th launch date (holiday AND weekend), coming while people's wallets are still recovering from Bloodstained, Yooka-Laylee and Shenume 3, and the campaign ultimately failed to get people excited for the game. While it was nice of the devs to release the prototype, it did not inspire confidence in the project. But it's the thought that counts, right?
Red Ash feels like the only Kickstarter I've seen where it could reach its goal and still feel like a failure due to how many of the game's chapters/additional areas were set behind stretch goals.
Still, I'm glad to see this campaign get a happy ending and get picked up by a publisher. Kinda sucks how it sounds like chapters 1-3 are the only ones getting funded instead of the whole game, but I hope that changes.

If you made a game from the ground up and needed a new project to gain any further income, I think you'd take whatever you could get, no matter if you're Inafune, or a user on the Bloodstained forums.
Mighty No. 9 isn't exactly what everyone wanted, but it's impossible to satisfy everyone. There's likely people here who are going to feel just as hurt about whatever Bloodstained becomes. There's no getting around that. Punishing one man for an entire collaboration because not everyone is happy is a bit unfair.
They took the investment deal because KS didn't pan out. As it stands there are 0 kickstarter $ right now and that doesn't look like it's going to change. They stated from the beginning they wanted this project to attract potential publishers, it just happened sooner than expected.
I don't see how it'd be fair for them to listen to kickstarter backers at all considering they have no money in the project, but they probably are going to listen, whole heartedly.
The world isn't black and white, good or bad. Complications arise in everyday procedures, and this time it resulted in us getting a game we otherwise weren't going to get even due to our own efforts.

We do not have to worry about IGA i only expect him to make a good game and he will do that, by the way backers are backing out of this so fast. If they do not release a console disk based reward fat chance on funding which has almost no chance without one.

Just went to the page, they say the game is funded by some Chinese Publishers, in which they will have all of the map ready, including all of the port of both consoles and PC
I have a really bad feeling here...
