I've just finished Steins; gate on vita. That writing is really good. And now I'm re-playing dark souls 1. This game is something I always go back to in between new games.

I am currently playing through Steamworld Dig. The game feels like Mr. Driller meets Cookie Clicker with a little bit of Super Metroid added in. All the exploration is based on moving down and you get to choose your own path through all the dirt, and you have to travel back up to the surface to cash in any gems you find in order to unlock equipment and ability upgrades. I beat the first two areas and I'm had fun with those, but I just reached the final area and everything feels like it's taking much longer to do, doesn't feel as fun, and I'm not entirely sure if I'll finish. After this, I'm probably going to play Freedom Planet again (lots of fun) and get around to playing/finishing Pier Solar and the Great Architects (got sidetracked). You've just reminded me. Thanks! I'm going to start playing Freedom Planet again, too.

Yes Freedom Planet and Steamworld Dig are fantastic games. For the latter, my time beating it was 8 hours and 3 minutes. It's one of those random generator games; I've heard of people finishing it in 4 hours and some finishing it in 14. I played it nonstop with this surprisingly fitting song in my earphones. I had a 10 hour version and for some reason it worked perfectly. Before that though, I had this version playing. There's no 10 hour version of this one. What have I been playing recently? I can't remember. I was at work and got too tired to play. I think I played Borderlands 1 and tried multiplayer again, since it worked so well. This time I got a Siren who ran off without me and killed a boss then got a bunch of chests and left. The other guy was a soldier who I was having fun with, but I accidentally started a DLC map and booted him. I stopped playing shortly after. After watching the Super Gaming Bros. play Sly Cooper, I'm going to get Thieves in Time after all. I put it on hold, but I remembered that Sly was my current favorite mascott trilogy on the PS2. I say current since I didn't beat Jak 2 and 3. I also haven't played any of the Ratchet games yet.

Had no idea it was randomly generated either. I've progressed a little bit further and I'm having fun again, but I don't think I'll be replaying the game for a while once I finish it. It's kinda nice to see Mr. Driller on steroids, though.

Continuing with Splatoon online multiplayer.
You know, I've played a lot of competitive video games in my life. And something I've noticed is that a lot of players act like the fight has been choreographed. If they fail to do something, they seem to be filled with the resolve to "prove" (To who? Themselves? The other player?) that they can do that thing correctly. I can't even count how many times I handily beat a player who was probably far more skilled then myself just because they get stuck in this mental trap.
And then there are the players who have an ego about as sturdy as wet paper. More then once in Splatoon, I took out a player, and that player proceeds to hound me for the rest of a match, and maybe a few matches after that as well, and ruthlessly squidbags me (Splatoon version of teabagging, shift from squid form to human form several times over in rapid succession, done by just mashing the ZL button on the Gamepad) on the occasions that he does take me out.
Dat poor wittle damaged pwide.

Demonophobia.
Damn this game is haaaaaard... I have to use Cheat Engine... sorry but I really can't beat the boss from Area 2... Other than that, I'd think it's pretty good. Some scenario gimmicks seem outdated but hey it's a game from 2000s. Thanks to the somehow crappy (and yet stylish) graphics, finally there are some guro-ish stuff that I could enjoy.
Would die again. -Hayakuri

After marathoning Metal Gear Solid 3, Peacewalker, and Ground Zeroes I'm about 150 hours into Phantom Pain. Easily in the top ten gameplay experiences I've ever had, especially when I stop playing by the rules other games have instilled in us.
Have Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Bayonetta 2, and 999 on the back burner. I still love you, MGS just ate my soul.

Yesterday, I picked up my pre-order for Animal Crossing Happy Home Academy.
Razzin-frazzin space limitations preventing me from using my full username...
Well, since designing my house interior is my favorite part of the regular AC games, I knew I'd enjoy this game a fair bit.

Just beat Steamworld dig after being sidetracked. Instead of jumping right back into Freedom Planet and Pier Solar like originally planned, I think I'll go through some of the shorter 1-2 hour story-driven games in my backlog. I've got my sights set on Serena, Estranged: Act I, and Gone Home.

I just beat Shadows of Mordor. I'm glad that I didn't pay for it. I got it for free from a family friend who worked on it. I was enjoying it at first, but that ending was horrible. It started to really get interesting when I was playing with the Uruk chain of command system. I didn't like the main character Talion, I didn't like this version of Celebrimbor, and I didn't spend all that much time with the other characters. I almost liked Torvin, but I didn't spend that much time with him. I guess that's what the DLC is for, but come on. It all left me cold, I did finish with about 92% completion, so I'm glad I'm done with it. I might come back for the DLC as I did get the game of the year edition, but that's for much later.
I've put it off for too long. With Hallow's Eve coming on the horizon, I will FINALLY start playing Silent Hill 2. In the meantime, I'll try squeezing in Guacamelee, inFAMOUS, and Tales of Symphonia HD. We'll see what happens, but the number one priority is SH2.

Guacamelee is excellent, especially if you like platforming challenges. SO HAPPY IT EXISTS. I'm almost at 100 percent with MGS V, then moving on to Dancing All Night and whatever else. 999 is of course there. ALWAYS TEMPTING ME. Might start SMT IV in lieu of the SMT IV: FINAL announcement.

Go through one route on your own, and then find a 999 flowchart. Just in case.
