I have just started playing Rayman Legens on Wii U, it is discounted on the European eShop. I like it very much for now, although I have played only the first stage. I am too tired to go on, so I hope I will play it during the weekend a little more. Maybe one more level before sleep now That is a fun, fun game! Lots of charm and amazing artwork to behold. ^_^ Yeah, it is very fun, I can`t wait to play more! I have been also playing Yoshi`s Wooly World lately, which also has colorful and charming world. I am a perfectionist, so it drives me crazy when I don`t collect all things in a level. Wooly World is very much a collectathon and the levels feel big. I prefer shorter levels with focus on collecting a little less. I do like collecting special items, but not when absolutely everything is needed for 100%.

When in doubt, replay Order of Ecclesia! Actually been thinking of getting back into the game recently.
Never beat it, I recall losing interest around the time you fought Death. And my most vivid memory of the game is that fight with the colossal demon centaur, or... whatever that thing was. Well, that and the crab that you drop an elevator on.
The "colossal demon centaur" (a.k.a. Eligor) made me give up for a long while too, when I first played OoE. Keep with it; The ending is pretty gratifying.

Absolutely. I REALLY loved interacting with the villagers, playing with a female protagonist, the difficulty curve, and even being able to explore outside the castle. UGH, that game is good! I haven't really done the research, but was it critically successful? I sincerely can't imagine why it wouldn't be. I am not entirely sure how well it did afterwards, but I did find out that 19,000 copies of OoE were sold during the first week of its release in Japan. Order of Ecclesia may very well be an excellent, but under-rated, game in the Castlevania series.

I played Ittle Dew for a little bit since I was going through my backlog. I was in the mood for a Zelda clone, it was charming, and kinda I liked the idea of working through a big castle to earn money and then go to other areas of the island that served as dungeons, but stopped playing when I realized most of the game was going to be sliding box/object puzzles.

I've been pretty busy with real life.... But I have been playing some other games as of late. I actually started playing Lords of Shadows. Not terrible. Not impressed yet either. Not fond of the fact that the a couple of the bosses are almost more about puzzle solving than actual combat... But I've decided than until I can get my Steam controller to play the game with it's not going to be a worth while play. Trying to do that game strictly through keyboard is painful.
I've also started playing Dungeon of the Endless. Very interesting so far. Very addictive. Far more difficult than I thought it was going to be. TERRIBLY FRUSTRATING at times. It's a combination real-time RPG, tower defense, strategy, dungeon crawler...... If you can imagine that. You don't actually control the individual actions of the characters you have in your party. You control what room they occupy, what their equipment is, individual healing, special abilities, and the occasional interaction with NPCs (of which there are few) and object you find. My biggest issue so far is that to complete the game, you have to complete 10 "floors" of the dungeon that get bigger with every floor. So far I have been unable to make it past the 4th floor.... You can have up to 4 members in your party and depending on whether you've beaten the game at least once as well as other conditions there are a number of unlockable characters as well as ships/escape pods that give you different numbers of starting party members as well as other conditions. There is a multiplayer mode but I am unsure whether this just means you have a second player controlling some/all of the characters, or whether you get another pool of 4 characters that they control to play with you.
I also started playing around with Transistor.... It's pretty..... And as of right now that's about the only thing I can say about it. I am very mixed about the combat system as well as the thin story that it is currently operating on.... At this point I'm not sure if I am going to bother trying to play any more of the game.... Let alone finish it...

I played Bastion and was disappointed in Transistor until I got enough of the skills unlocked to make it fun. The story, while nothing to write home about, was interesting. My only complaint is the sword-guy's voice acting felt off.

Wii U: Splatoon
Accomplished my goal of hitting level 40, and at the rate I'm going I'll be level 42 before Super Mario Maker. The game is amazing fun, though it does feel like Nintendo has tapped only 30% of its potential.
PS4: Samurai Warriors 4
Mostly just creating CAWs (Create-A-Warriors) as I cross my fingers for news of Samurai Warriors 4: Empires being localized. I'm glad that Hyrule Warriors got me into other Warriors games. And I seem to always come back to Warriors games, if you really desire to do everything in a Warriors game then you'll find that they have a pretty insane replayability factor.
3DS: Etrian Odyssey II Untold The Fafnir Knight
Honestly having more fun in Classic Mode then in Story Mode. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the Story Mode cast, but as a semi-retired Fanfiction writer (though trying to come out of retirement) I like having 5 blank slate characters that I can 'write' the characters of as I please.

So you guys mean that Witcher 3 is slow or meant that it is fast? Sorry didn't see this post until just now. First off, I haven't even played witcher 3, just 2 (well actually I played some of 1 too but the combat mechanics of 1 are god awful IMO, and no I'm not saying that because I don't understand it and get whooped... I hate it because it's practically like a stand and hack mmo in terms of depth, I HATE stand and hack mmos). But witcher 2 (and I presume 3s) combat is 'faster' than souls...but don't think I dislike it JUST BECAUSE it's faster.. I mean I like the combat in ninja gaiden and such, which are way faster... witcher 2 combat is faster, but also... I can't explain... it's not exactly like.. but it's kinda like skyrim where you focus on weaving in enemy attack ranges and weaving out constantly as you swing blows that feel like they are slashing air the whole time. You don't really spend a whole lot of time recognizing enemy attack patterns, and countering them, or dodging in a certain direction, or whatever.. it's more like.. be altogether inside their range when it's safe, hack hack hack, recognize the enemy is no longer locked in an animation, and just dodge completely out of their range altogether, regardless of what kind of attacks they have. I'm not saying there are no exceptions, but the game kinda makes you play like that most of the time rather than sidestep when they do an overhead slice, duck when they do a horizontal slice, block when they do a stab, that kind of specialized response thing. I mean I know you don't duck or whatever in ninja gaiden or souls, but you do stuff like see they are cutting down from right to left so you attack while advancing under their arm as they swing over your head, or you do an all out roll to the side if they do an overhead chop, and you do often favor parrying or blocking on lunges.. that sorta thing. Not to mention you often move in a way to encourage them to commit to certain attacks with large openings, etc. Anyway, I just finished my first nightmare mode clear on Ys: Origin. I love that game, kinda sad it doesn't have an inferno difficulty like oath, because I like it more than oath. I wanna use Toal instead of yunica now kinda but not really. I didn't like how the whole sp mechanic in nightmare is virtually non-existent. Now I'm having a craving for some old tactical CRPGish game called semper fi... if only I can find the damn cd for it... no clue if it'll even work on windowz 7. If I can't find it or if doesn't work I think I'll give another go for fallout: tactics. edit: Unintentional score! While looking for semper fi the game, I bumped into my old Stormlord gorgon cult cd that I thought I lost.. my darn bro had it stashed underneath a buncha %@#%# in his desk.. I haven't seen it for years. It's music, not a game, but op didn't specify games =P. Don't listen if you don't like metal =P... it's also black metal... so don't listen if you can't stand that vocal style.

I've been making the slowest progress ever in Fire Emblem: Awakening. I'm looking forward to playing Etrian Odyssey IV sometime after. I am not entirely sure how well it did afterwards, but I did find out that 19,000 copies of OoE were sold during the first week of its release in Japan. Order of Ecclesia may very well be an excellent, but under-rated, game in the Castlevania series. Anecdotal, but as far as forumgoing goes, I see it held up as a favorite quite often, for what it's worth.

I was playing Borderlands 1 on PC. I remembered playing it on 360 and being bored and somewhat motion sick, even with two or three players. I got it for free on PC, so I jumped back in. I'm a lot more invested, than before. But I went from being bored and somewhat sick to just plain a little bored. One thing that kind of intrigues me is multiplayer, but I have yet to find someone to play with. I'm...level 18 as a Hunter I think. I still haven't done that story important mission involving Sledge.(or any of the DLC that came with it) Everyone of my friends seems to own the second game on steam, so I guess if I want to try multiplayer I'm going to have to go with that. It's on sale on the humble store for 10 bucks, so maybe. I did Payday 2 with multiplayer. It was nuts, violent, and I loved every second of it. Save for a friend constantly disconnecting, it was a fantastic experience with 4 players. We tended to lose less this time around.(Barely though, we had 3 close calls) We robbed a jewelry store, a nightclub, a mall, and we made meth in the middle of a fire fight and actually survived. We didn't do that one stealth mission involving a snitch, because I couldn't find it. Two of us tried that mission last time and failed because the game hates us.

Guacamelee the final edition(I'm not going to type that full title).
I can't for the life of me do those combos that the chicken asks of me. The Hell missions are easier. I'd rather push for gold on those.

I am currently playing through Steamworld Dig. The game feels like Mr. Driller meets Cookie Clicker with a little bit of Super Metroid added in. All the exploration is based on moving down and you get to choose your own path through all the dirt, and you have to travel back up to the surface to cash in any gems you find in order to unlock equipment and ability upgrades. I beat the first two areas and I'm had fun with those, but I just reached the final area and everything feels like it's taking much longer to do, doesn't feel as fun, and I'm not entirely sure if I'll finish.
After this, I'm probably going to play Freedom Planet again (lots of fun) and get around to playing/finishing Pier Solar and the Great Architects (got sidetracked).
