Switch has native Unreal 4 support, modern Nvidia Maxwell architecture running a tegra 1 and 4gb of system memory. They could probably port it in 1080p if it was optimized properly.

Enkeria , this is kind of an "extra" update, so don't worry, something more game-y is coming soon. This one also mentions we're getting 3 new characters introduced soon.  Yeah, I felt it were a bit too "little" since it doesn't gave me something other then what people on this forum have been almost exclusivly talking about for a while. BUT.. I am happy people get the information they wanted (or not wanted), in any case. Now we can focus on continue to updates. If the update comes next month, I guess I could wait without going (more) insane. |

How do I switch what system I get the game on? I don't think I have the email anymore unfortunately that allowed it in the first place. If you selected the Wii U version in your backer survey and you want the Switch version, you’re all set! The Switch version has replaced the Wii U version in the survey, so no further action is necessary on your part. If you selected the Wii U version and you want to move to a PC, PS4, Xbox One, or Vita version, you can go to your backer survey and make the change now. (Click the "Change Your Survey Answers" link.) As was stated though, it may be a few days. E-mails in the thousands.
If you want to try looking for that e-mail, it will show up as:
From: Fangamer Mailroom (same address above) Subject: ACTION REQUIRED: Survey For Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Most were sent out mid-September, so check around then. I can't imagine you would have deleted it.

I'm actually at a crossroads here. I backed for a physical Steam copy, because I wanted to be able to play this game in, let's say, 20 years in the future when reasons happen. But now, I might just switch^2, due to portability. I also have a proper capture card now, so that should help me get into the speedrunning scnee if that ever happens, and just get a digital copy at a later time for pc. Decisions. Decisions. Why Not GOG copy? So you could play offline, and without issues of Steam not working / password loss / other errors? I have 1 steam and 1 gog, I might change that to something else. Dunno yet. Do not own any of the consoles. |

Steam or GoG  Both will do for that. I took early access / beta for Steam I think, and Gog on disc. This is for some reason I would like to play the game on any PC later on, without having need of accounts and stuff, or, if I would somehow get hacked or banned from Steam (can't think of why), just a precaution I made, since I think a lot on plan B all the time, a characteristic feat. |

Bummer. Well, I hope the Wii U donors can get fully compensated. I'm a PC guy, so Yooka Laylee and Bloodstained don't affect me at all. I mean, the update says anybody that wanted that version can get a refund so they will? |

Yep. So long as they responded with "Wii U" as a survey choice prior to the update, which should have been everybody honestly wanting that version. Best way to do that so we're not looking at insincere requests.

Dropping in for the first time in months due to work and Fire Emblem Fates taking over my life.
Honestly not surprised by this decision. Wii U is basically dead, the Switch natively supports Unreal 4, and Inti is an official Switch partner. Not complaining because I'm gonna buy a Switch eventually (preferably by the time Splatoon 2 comes out).

It is a pretty neat little system at home I dock it and play on my 50" TV and when I go to work I slip it in my gym bag. Exploring Hyrule is more interesting than watching security monitors and I have the wall adapter so I can keep it float charged. |

Just a small correction: the demo just required you to have a pledge of 60 or more. The beta is the only one that requires you to have a pc version picked as one of your copies. |
