Like I said in chat, I was sorta expecting this. The Wii U was nearing the end of its lifespan and the Switch seems to be really hot (a lot of people are buying it due to Breath of the Wild, I hear). Putting Bloodstained on the Switch may be a sensible way to capitalize on the system's success  Now, I wonder if our update will mention this...it seems to be pretty important, so I'd wager Steve and the other folks will really wanna think about what they're gonna say, what sort of information the fans would be most concerned about, and if they wanna reveal any other stuff  |

Very possible. Could be a hoax though. No Switch owners I'm talking to can confirm that news on their Switch as shown in the pictures. Possible hoax. I'm just glad Mana and Steve are online right now.

The team is discussing how they wish to address the recent thread containing pictures of a Nintendo Switch screen with a news item that may be a hoax. Those are my words not theirs, but Mana requested I make that thread private for now to prevent any confusion. As soon as I have confirmation that either it's a hoax or an official announcement I will return the thread to public view.
Until then, lets contain our excitement and wait for an official word on this.
I'd like to add that multiple Switch owners have checked their news menus and have not seen the news that was listed in those pictures.

Thanks for the explanation! Whatever happens, I am mostly excited for the update that should be coming soon, no matter what the topic will be. Switch is an exciting topic at the moment, though. I am waiting to change/upgrade my pledge.

Yeah, good call, XombieMike. The game may or may not be coming out on the Switch, but I've seen a lot of screenshots get faked, so if other folks have mentioned the news isn't showing up for them, something fishy might be going on. It's definitely best to wait for confirmation from the team. |
