The interview was interesting, leaves me wondering what songs would be in the concert performance.
Regarding the monsters:
I like the harpy design its nice and original, i do feel though Aello could benefit from some traditionally more female features as this is the norm for depictions of harpies - i dont mean just stick some breasts on it though as this i think is an all-too-human feature and is very overplayed, instead i would suggest more shapely muscular powerful legs to make Aello seem both more feminine and more dangerous. Having said this i love the animation on this one.
Gieremund's design is good solid traditional enemy type. It's somehow manages to look emaciated and strong at the same time. Fur only seems to grow on the tail which is pretty strange, i wonder how it would look with the fur stripped away... The other odd thing i noticed is that the tongue seems to attach to the roof of the mouth rather than the back of the throat -personally i find this super-creepy it's a nice touch to differentiate Gieremund from any normal wolf.

That harpy looks so blurred compared to what we have seen, especially the castle background with something so detailed and beautiful, will be ruined so easily due to badly detailed enemies I have no complain on the wolf though, looks pretty detailed to me I mean, we shouldn't be so quick to judge if we haven't seen them on a proper background, not zoomed and with it's proper attack pattern. I think they look fine and was amazed at how close they look to it's concept art. |

Monster Girls are a Castlevania staple so I can't say I was ever worried about their exclusion. What pleases me is how cool this harpy design is - one of the best in the series (if we treat Bloodstained as a continuation of the Casltevania bloodline). The artists and dev team could have easily churned out something boring/generic (like say.......Monster Musume LOL) but thankfully they didn't  |

The wings of the Aello really has an optical illusion, or whatever it's called, going on. While the wings may look low texture, when they're flapping, it looks the same as the rest of her/its/...his(?) body.
Overall, I'd say this was a pretty nice update. Both of those enemies are cool. No complains on any of their animations. The dog is fine as long as he moves as quickly as his idle animation would imply.
The interview was cool. Sorry to hear her cat died though.

I think the "illusion" that you mentioned is motion blur, I have no complain about that though since you can turn it off by editing the configuration file. |

Best update so far. Hands down. I really like the new enemies, I think they fit the gothic horror genre well, especially the Gieremund enemy. I almost get a slight Halloween vibe from the pup. :3 Aello looks pretty clean, too. Now I think I'm gunna brainstorm for the next couple of hours what their shards do. Hmmm...

How they work and seeing one in action would be cool. We don't need to see all that they do.... An animation of them behind the character and it's "PERSONALITY" showing. Plus some information on how they operate would be fantastic.
