Or perhaps it is people who have become disheartened or displeased and are going back and picking lower tiers or legitimately canceling their pledge and then others are stepping in at the higher tiers to take their place. That happened several times with Bloodstained. Perfect example comes to mind is SOTN4EVA. He eventually backed out completely and someone very quickly took his place. I thought he got banned? SOTNEVA?? He not with the group anymore. Let's leave it at that and not open old wounds.  |

It does not help with people troll pledging a amount of money then removing it every day, i wish kickstarter would do something if they see the same people put in money and remove it multiple times. Or perhaps it is people who have become disheartened or displeased and are going back and picking lower tiers or legitimately canceling their pledge and then others are stepping in at the higher tiers to take their place. That happened several times with Bloodstained. Perfect example comes to mind is SOTN4EVA. He eventually backed out completely and someone very quickly took his place. Didn't SOTN4EVA actually come back later and pledge one final time? I thought I saw him in the comments-section apologizing to everybody a couple days before the KS ended. |

He came in and out saying "I'm so glad to be a part of this" and then he was tripping out saying "I removed my pledge" because he was angry at someone or something. The very next day it'd be a repeat, and this went on for a few days.

I did a 180.
Even once they announced PS4 copy I was unexcited. I think I was all E3 hype and so I pulled my pledge today. I'm not a Shenmue fan to begin with.

I see no reason to back this. With Sony funding them on the back end, little reward incentives and the Shenmue IP there's no chance this game isn't getting made.
The way this KS was run is almost insulting, especially when compared to Bloodstained. I'll wait for retail to decide if its worth my time/money.

The real test will be what today's daily total will be. If you look at www.kicktraq.com/projects/ysnet/shenmue-3/#chart-daily The Physical PS4 copies certainly gave the campaign a good shot in the arm but it's starting to look to was a flash in the pan so far rather than a revitalization. |

Sony is handling the marketing, which is A LOT OF MONEY, but they have nothing to do with financing the development of the game itself.
