Couple more visual anomalies.
1. The cannons in the second room initially appear with low-detail textures. On my PC with a SSD, this lasts for three frames. Here is the difference: Rarely, this low-detail look is permanent for that session:
2. The sword is rendered as a foreground object, meaning the rest of Miriam's mesh is rendered as a silhouette when behind it. This happens with walls and other things Miriam can clip into, of course, but it's odd that it would happen with a held weapon.

I know this is late but I made a video of my playthrough two weeks ago. I played this game with the keyboard and mouse it wasn't very comfortable but it's playable. I don't have an Xbox One or 360 (wired) at the time of recording my gameplay footage. Today, I found my old 3rd party controllers (Logitech Dual Action USB 12-Button Gamepad). Buttons indicate numbers instead of the standard button letters. So here is the layout of the buttons (using the Xbox One Controller as the base). However, when tested, each button does different function. Some buttons layout got pretty messed up. I listed the actions below.
A - 2 - Trigger Ability (e.g. Seama) B - 3 - Jump X - 1 - Attack Y - 4 - Jump with sword *Bug???* If you press twice at the right timing, you can attack too! RB - 6 - None RT - 8 -None LB -7 - Back Dash LT - 5 - Back Dash View Button - 9 - Map Menu Button - 10 - Start
Other bugs. If you hold the jump button, you cannot attack on mid air unless you let go of the jump button.
Thoughts 3rd party controllers will have some issues playing the game. I know a couple people used the Xbox One or Xbox 360 to play the demo and this won't be an issue to them. However, I feel that I should address this issue. I believe that 3rd party controllers should be usable to play this game. Not everyone has an Xbox or Playstation controller.

Got a peculiar, fairly inconsequential bug to report: When breaking candles open mid-air, it is possible to not have the object picked up dependent on some very odd timings of cracking a candle open, your movement while airborne and when you ultimately land. It's possible to recreate the bug by very nuanced, deliberate motions and timing, namely with when you attack the candle (and even holding the attack button down seems to influence it somehow). To illustrate, see image: You can see from the above screen, I am standing in the middle of the stained glass flower when it should register as a pick up. This is very easily corrected by 'wiggling' on and off it. This can also occur with money drops but is a lot harder to replicate. Incidently, I have not been able to replicate this with the smaller flowers since they sway left and right as they fall thus completely mitigating the phenomenon shown above.

The game is running in VR mode! There is partial VR support!
I did not expect VR support in the demo, I have a vive, and when i run the game steam VR will activate. I see the info for disabling VR mode.
With VR running, you can look around the scene and look outside the view box, can see the sky (visual errors from perceptive, can look behind (there is a ENV sky backdrop behind you that does not fit the world, can sometimes see a 2nd stage draw with checkers texture that represents a test room for collision. UI and menu is not supported, they are not adjusted for the headset view or the shadow screen on the desktop, so i am blind to all menu control.
The scene is drawn from far away, so you cannot see depth and everything is pixelated because of distance, but the short boss cutscene works and has depth, wow that boss from VR view lol; speaking of, in the boss room from the entrance you can just turn you head and look at her. The boss looks to have a fish or serpent tail under the monstrous head.

I can only play the first couple minutes of the demo before it hard freezes in the same exact spot every single time. It seems to run smoothly regardless of resolution or fullscreen/windowed mode, but when I get to the top deck for the first time, the game will freeze when I get within 3 feet of the first squid creature, whether I hit him or not. The freeze does not occur until I get close to the creature. The weather and deck-smashing cause no slowdown. For reference, my specs are as follows -- Windows 7 64-bit, AMD Phenom II X4 3.00 GHz, 8 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5. Any idea what could be causing this? This is usually caused by errors on the game disc/hard drive. Validate the integrity of your files or install on a different hard drive.

Hitboxes for the Morte enemies don't always register Miriam's attacks. If she is too close or too far away, they will completely ignore her, but can still hit her with their attacks. A similar effect happens with the squid enemies as well (can't rmember their name). This was the problem I was having, too. Confirmed during my test of the demo yesterday.
