Update 39 - A Video, Playable Demo, E3 & Galleon Minerva

Dammit, i didn't saw that! I need to see that now, NOOOWWW

Oh man. The 11-minute video was good (even if the looping audio did get annoying). That's probably big enough to get its own thread since it's almost the whole demo and there's more to discuss.

My thoughts on all the new stuff discovered today. I'm not using spoiler tags since I don't think anything in the demo should be considered a spoiler since it's intended to be public knowledge and gaming media is covering it right now, but I'll try to keep things vague.

-The menus look nice and clean.
-I noticed the menu had quotation marks around "Minerva", like it's written Galleon "Minerva" instead of Galleon Minerva or "Galleon Minerva". They are probably placed there for grammar/writing format reasons, but at the same time, I want to be the first to propose the theory that the Galleon Minerva isn't real and is either a dream, illusion, or a metaphor representing Miriam's courage that was inside her heart and mind all along.
-I'm a little bit let down that the kick attack is an equippable weapon rather than a basic or unarmed move that can be used at any time, but it still looks fun to use.
-I love Miriam's animations for leveling up and getting a new shard. They help those moments feel more like events where I'm thinking "awwww shiiiiiiiit, get hyped!"
-I haven't seen Miriam's death animation yet. I hope Romscout dies on the stream so we can see it.
-The boss gave me the impression IGA or someone else involved with the game heard about the forum thread or Kickstarter comments discussing Miriam's breasts and went "...Big breasts and jiggle physics? Oh, I'll show them some big breasts and jiggle physics!"
-I was surprised by where some of the Morte spawned from near the middle/end of the demo. They're growing on me.
-I appreciate IGA's determination to make what he wants to make from the 4gamer interview.
-I hope IGA enjoyed his first macaroni. I once had macaroni baked in a black pan like the one in the picture that was posted on Twitter and Facebook, and it tasted great.

OK I'm not clicking that, too much even for me.

Bloodstained is a new game and Romscout doesn't have as much experience with it as he does with SOTN. I'm sure he'll die because of something like dashing backwards at the wrong time and accidentally hitting a projectile while low on health, or getting distracted by IGA going on a Hulk-style rampage mid-stream as he searches for more macaroni.

I like the boss design, but it is way too colorful.  The colors seem blurry and loud.  The color aspect doesn't seem to fit in with everything else.

Woah, I'm going to have to stop coming here for a while lol. I didn't want to see the status screen yet, even. *cloud of dust*

that "earth" icon looks like a foot. Could it be a status that affects movement, like paralyze or leaden?

I have a feeling bosses might wonder up being colorful if they're doing the whole stained glass = corruption deal.
