I'm not a big fan of her hand high in the air pose gives me too much of an anime vibe but her idle pose, the ribbon, the animations, are all fantastic

So, I think I'd first like to point out that, to my observation, the Morte does not appear to be in a finished state to the degree that we saw Miriam in, so I'll be light on criticisms there. I will say that the current design is going to be very prone to breaking the 2D illusion with all the moving reflections.
Otherwise, the designs are great. The Seama kind of reminds me of the Leviathans from Supernatural, the Dullahammer is both menacing and hilarious, like a deadlier Yorick, and the Morte looks like it may be our replacement for the everpresent Castlevania zombies. All in all, I'm liking the way monster design is going here. Some classic Castlevania nods mixed in with new weirdness.
And uni is my favorite sushi, so now I'm hungry.

Not a very solid stance, mind you, but that's the impression I get.

I'm loving how Miriam looks right now, the morte demon looks early so I'm okay with it as long as it improves. It looks shiny? I think that's the right word, not really sure how to describe it lol

The webm looks a bit blurry - I'm not sure if that's on my end or the file itself. Otherwise, I'm liking what I'm seeing from the poses and character animations. From them you can get real potential insight into Miriam's character and I like what I'm seeing

I can't wait to see how many different misspellings of "Dullahammer" people will make. That's gonna be fun. Oh, and Dullahammer looks cool too. I like the spike-covered armor and how that monster uses its head as a weapon. Hopefully players can do all sorts of crazy things like juggle the head away from the rest of the body, causing it chasing after them if they stray far away enough. The first thing that popped into my head when I saw Seama was the plant from Little Shop of Horrors going "Feeeed me, Seymour!" because of its big teeth and how its name sounded similar to 'Seymour'. It's probably my favorite design out of the three we saw today. I wouldn't be surprised if Seama ended up jumping in and out of water, becoming Bloodstained's equivalent to the Merman. My first impression of Morte was that I liked the upside-down head because its eyes and mouth reminded me of Candle Jack's face and the name "Morte" could pave the way for a bunch of Rick and Morty-related puns depending on how it's pronounced, but other than that I wasn't too impressed. Then I saw the animation and thought it looked much better in motion. I'm cool with it. Thank you to everyone involved with bringing us the update!

as a fun joke, there needs to be another monster named lick and there needs to be a room with lick and morte >P
loving the animations so far, the turning animation is progressing nicely, maybe have a 1frame screech stop with a swoosh or dust cloud between the end of forward movement and the leg drag into opposite direction to give more weight to her movement? the low kick has a really nice snap to it at the end, and the morte going bleaugh and disintegrating is cool and he has the perfect shamble going, and miriams idle pose yeee ^_^
the ribbons are really cool, im wondering if the back cloud would be more ethereal if it was at 75% 0r 50% opacity, it may be the flat color background playing a trick but it looks like shes got a purple blob attached to her back when shes stationary, looks awesome when shes in motion though >_>b
morte works really well as an early tutorial/zombie enemy, dullahammer looks like itd be fun to fight, and i wonder if seama will have a grab attack thatll leave you vulnerable to a smaller hit and run enemy?
