Favorite Anime/Manga

Claymore is really good, though the ending went in a completely different direction from the manga. I hope they remake it, or make a second season which retcons the ending of the first season.

Hajime no Ippo is definitely a must watch, even if you despise boxing. The anime will make you love it somehow. It's an emotional roller coaster ride, let me tell you. Freakin' epic, and it's quite long so you'll be engaged for a while.

Black Lagoon is awesome for its gun fights, and badass characters. Mandatory.

Chrno Crusade is really good too. It has good comedy, good action, good characters and stuff. Can't go wrong with watching this one. It'll make you cry a waterfall at the end, so prepare a dozen boxes of tissues.

Seto no Hanayome, Seitokai Yakuindomo, and Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu are some of the funniest animes I've seen, so those are a must-watch as well.

In terms of anime movies, I haven't seen that many.

High School DxD (Season 1 and Season 2) (What? I happen to like it. And not for the fanservice, believe it or not.)
Corpse Party: Tortured Souls (And I wish I never did. I'm a fan of the series and I've more or less become desensitized to horror, and yet it STILL horrifies me!)

And for the record, I'm a dub kind of guy, although if there's no option for that, I can settle for subs.

Yeah, I'm not an active manga reader either, compared to the amount of animes I've watched. I have read some really good Mangas though. Obvious one's would be All Around Type-Moon, and Take Moon for being Type-Moon related. Another good one is Claymore.

I only know hiragana and katakana so I'm far from being able to read Mahoutsukai no yoru. That didn't stop me from getting it on my hard drive though, lol.  If only it was fully voiced, that would make it easier to understand.

I'm holding out on Hollow Ataraxia until the Voice Project gets completed. Carnival Phantasm is great though. Especially the Illya's Castle Special.

Good luck waiting for that, maybe in five years or so, lol.

And Carnival Phantasm is the #1 Type-Moon anime right now, no objections. That shit is glorious.

Enough of that, who here is waiting for Tsukihime Remake? There are some scenes that would be awesome with well-made CGs and OST.

I doubt it will take that long.  Some guys at Beast's Lair have been working on it for a few months now.

Now the Tsukihime Remake?  Who knows when that will be out.  I was actually going to wait on the remake when I first finished FSN, but then I saw how long it had been in the making already...

Wow, never heard about that before, definitely going to play someday. Is there a full English translation or should I go back to learn Japanese right now (as if I could, lol)?

I never thought I would say this, but thank you Arcueid, don't misunderstand this, you still can't have my Tohno-kun, ok?

When I lived in Central America I would watch things like DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Bleach (Bleach's flamenco tracks during the Arrancar arc is what got me into playing flamenco actually. Too bad there aren't music sheets for those unfortunately). They played other things too from time to time, but they weren't too memorable. When I returned to the US I watched/read Berserk, HunterxHunter, and that's about it. May get back to it someday.
