Please let there be good news for Region 3. I would rather much have the game instead of other form of compensation. Although, if however Inti Creates still refuses to budge on the matter... I guess I will be forced to choose the latter.

Here are the options given by Fangamer with each one of them turned down by me (answer in green). 1) If you register a separate PSN account with Japan as the region, your code should work. Creating a new JP PSN account is not feasible. It's one memory card per account/region, unless of course you want to format your entire card (removing all save files) just to accomodate one game?! I think not!
2) If you already have a secondary North American or Europe / Australia / PAL region PSN account, or if you have a Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, or Xbox One, we will ask ArtPlay to provide us with a replacement code for a different region and/or platform. (We can’t guarantee that ArtPlay will provide us with extra codes, and we also don’t have a time-frame available.) If I had a different console, I would not be asking for a replacement code for PS Vita now, would I?
3) If neither of the first two options are acceptable, we will work with ArtPlay to manually send a $10 USD payment to you via PayPal. I do not buy enough things online to justify having an account in PayPal. Even if I do, I will just use my credit card.
As you can see, none of the options provided are remotely useful. Please ask Inti Creates to release codes for R3, else I will not be able to play CotM! I know this is not what you want to hear, but adding a territory for a PSN store is easier said than done. I'm not defending Inti's screw-up, but out of all the current situations, this is the lease likely to get resolved. If you really want to play this game on a Vita, then a 2nd Vita memory card will be required, smallest one should do and those are pretty cheap. I often swap between 2 accounts since I play PSO2 on my Vita when I'm not near my PC. I have a 32GB card for PSO2 and a 16GB for everything else (PSO2 is my only Digital game so far, everything else is physical). I backed-up my two accounts on my PC using QCMA with no memory card inserted, this just saves my setting and bubble disposition, so it takes seconds to backup and restore. So when I want to swap accounts, I remove my memory card, format my system, link it with the other account, restore the settings for that account from my PC and insert the proper memory card. The entire process takes about 5 minutes, so it's not the end of the world. Anyway, just a suggestion, don't bite my head off if you don't like it. Thank you, but again, it's not feasible. At this point, a 4gb card is enough for me to just buy a brand new game. So, no.

In Fangamer's defense, they're trying the best they can to remedy a crappy situation they had absolutely no hand in creating (even going so far as to work with ArtPlay to provide a refund of sorts from their own coffers). Meanwhile, Inti Creates not only made all of the mistakes in regards to CotM's release, but has yet to step up and handle the fixing of said mistakes; leaving IGA, ArtPlay, and 505 scrambling to do damage control. I definitely sympathize with the fact that none of the solutions provided by Fangamer will work for you, believe me. But as far as I can see, your best course of action may be to email Inti about how you and other Region 3 backers don't appreciate being left out. Already did. No reply till now. I guess they just don't care enough.

Was it not IGA that asked Inti Creates to make this spin off? Why can't he be diligent enough to check that we will not get a GOG version (or at least do not tell us at the last possible second we will not get one) nor will we get a PS Vita Asia version? Hmm? If you outsourced the project, you better be sure to take the heat if something happens. You cannot claim that "Hey sorry, we just outsource this product, don't blame us. We know we could have checked better, but we didn't so don't blame us, yes?"

This really really sucks. Non of the options provided by Fangamer can be used. You know, I gave them a second chance and still, they failed to deliver. No GOG codes, fine. No PS Vita Asia codes, too?! Seriously, two strikes is all I can take!

cstoe Fangamer is really busy right now with everything going on at the moment but they've always been real supportive they WILL get back to you. cheers, they've replied indeed, here is their response. "Sorry for the late reply! We contacted ArtPlay and Inti Creates about your code compatibility issue. ArtPlay did not realize that the Japanese Region PS4/PS Vita codes would be incompatible with Asia region PSN accounts, and Inti Creates has stated they will not release a version of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon for the Asia region on PS4/PS Vita. Therefore, we cannot provide you with a code that will be compatible with your Asia region PSN account. We’re very sorry for the trouble; we (Fangamer) only have a limited number of options we can provide, but here’s what we can offer: 1) If you register a separate PSN account with Japan as the region, your code should work. 2) If you already have a secondary North American or Europe / Australia / PAL region PSN account, or if you have a Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, or Xbox One, we will ask ArtPlay to provide us with a replacement code for a different region and/or platform. (We can’t guarantee that ArtPlay will provide us with extra codes, and we also don’t have a time-frame available.) 3) If neither of the first two options are acceptable, we will work with ArtPlay to manually send a $10 USD payment to you via PayPal." I just hope there is not such issue for the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night release. Got the same reply. Sorry, Iga, but I am seriously disappointed with you and this will be my last time backing any of your projects. Your negligence in not checking the difference between the Playstation regions is just unthinkable. Like seriously, for companies that makes games for the Playstation console, failing to know about the regions is just plain stupid.

I am having trouble with my codes even though the answer I selected is for Asia. I don't know how Playstation divides their region, but here it is
R1 - USA and Canada R2 - Europe and Japan R3 - Asia R4 - Australia/New Zealand
As you can see, I selected Asia which was one of the answers in the drop down and now as you might expect, the codes for Japan, which they gave me, does not work.
It also seems that Inti Creates has only acknowledges there's problems with the EU codes and nothing for the Asia codes.
Help?

To the OP, read thisI DO NOT care about this "over-sexualization" or "why does this character, monster have this kind of look" issues in games (it reminds me of when people were complaining about the characters aesthetics in Dragon's Crown and it really annoys me). Remember this game is more about nostalgia, story, and gameplay, so please try to look past your "concerns" and enjoy the game. Thank you very much.

I'm sure it'll be a fantastic game, but... Yeah... Plus, where am I gonna find the time to play another 100+ hour RPG when I've got tons of them I haven't even touched yet? Still, it looks fantastic for fans of the series/genre! Steam/GMG sale for me though, lol. Edit: I guess I should point out that I haven't played the first one yet, so by default, I'd be inclined to get the $50 bundle. Mandatory "From which anime is it?" post. It's from A-Channel

Well if you are interested, you should get Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition (it's basically an enhanced edition of the first game). It's also available on both XBone and PS4 XD P.s. Btw, nice gif image you have there masterlibrarian
