What about wikia.com?
I remember using it for games like Monster Hunter. Used it to get some data for Castlevania CotM as well, when I had plans on learning scripting with UE4 and creating a 'remake' of CotM. Generally I use an ad blocker, cant say much about the intrusiveness of ads myself.
As for the concern of anybody being able to edit a wiki, you can check the history of changes and revert if needed So if a troll is trying to mess things up, it can be restored pretty easily.
Also I think a wiki and anyone being able to edit is a good thing. It will spread the 'workload' as it doesn't need to go through specific people. If someone find something they can simply add it to the Wiki themselves. I imagine there will always be active users monitoring the wiki like pseudo mods as well.
Didn't check it in depth but I saw some stuff about admin rights and what not on their help pages as well.
I personally don't think a forum as a wiki is a good idea, or even just creating custom HTML pages. Imagine it would take quite a bit of man hours to set everything up and maintain it. Why make things harder for ourselves when a wiki does all of that for you?

Here's my to do list. Can everyone please let me know if I'm missing anything? Hover color to be red for reply and create thread buttons. Mobile version heading text color and menu for navigation is unreadable. Selecting a post turns background white. Border images around boards (if I can code it). if you want the "Reply" to be red when hover, I have this css code you can put in the css: reply-button:hover {color: red;} that'll just replace the colour wont it? dont think that'd look good tbh. Only the text should change anyway.

Yeah, css is .. interesting. Im updating my own site whenever I have time and trying to implement some CSS stuff as well. It's enjoyable.
So for the bottom bar on the testbed I just used some cells with fixed widths for the left and right side and full width for the center piece. I just copy pasted that piece of code to the bottom of the 'Board Information & Statistics' css. Looks like we'd need to copy paste that for each section.

Are you still planning on adding the bars to the bottom of the boxes?
The go to top button, will you replace that as well?
As for the 'post body' planning on addin a border or something around it? And if so, do you need my help to create a border for it?
I had made a start for replacing the buttons as well, the pagination ones (prev, 1, 2, next etc.) If you feel like the theme had progresed far enough and you dont have the time/energy for it. im fine with calling it done.
We can always do smaller polish changes in the future.

You could say it's almost... 2.5D omfg I know but the other enemies are 3D LOL Don't be rude ahaha Buer is actually a 3d model. In fact I was suprized at how much depth it had when I checked out the model. It basically consist of 2 elements. The "ring like" legs and the "floating" head.

Censorship sucks, especially over something petty like in Tokyo Mirage Sessions. But, I don't really think such censorship will happen to Bloodstained. If something was gonna be censored it would probably be one of the enemies or one of Miriam's costumes. But, Iga did say this game was made for the Japanese audience so...we'll see. Where did he say the game is made for Japanese audiences? All I remember reading is that he said he wouldnt sacrifice Japanese design methodologies for the sake of western views. ...maybe I'm just nitpicking. Anyway yeah I doubt there would be any region specific censoring, especially if the game is to have a staggered release. It woukd mean theyd need to maintain multiple builds for each update.

Yeah, I agree with Scars Unseen . try this gradient: Its more subtle and should be closer to the demo menu in game as well. I like the new reply button though =] If it is possible to do a mouse over effect on the button, we should change the text colour to red, like the news bar.

It will be a new 'outfit'.
I am desinging stuff around the actual design of the character, so it doesn't involve too many model edits. It should be similar to the 'costume concept' set up though. Re texture for main body, unique items for the accessories/weapons and what not.
However I am postponing any mod work for Bloodstained for the time being, to finish up some other personal projects I was working on. In about 2 weeks I should have all of the time in the world though. =]
I'll probably do some small edits every now and then for the enemies as well as I had some ideas for em, which should be relatively simple, just to get the conversation/interest going.
Got asked for some files by another user as well, so hopefully that person will start showing/releasing some stuff as well. =]

Yeah... I know what you mean. I still have some ideas I want to create a mod from, but haven't had much time lately to actually start working on them. The different hairstyle test was actually part of one of the ideas I had.
I'm still surprised that they actually went with moving the ship.. =P I can see at least one reason why they would do that, Miriam and co, basically every 'character object' would rotate with the ship. no 'balancing' going on. But the negative of moving the ship is that it gets prone to bugs and glitches as we have noticed, haha!

I'll have to try it out tomorrow. Too tired to do anything meaningful at this point. Will be interesting though. It looks like it could be something similar to the thin platform bug, where you fall trough sometime. If the engine is actually teleporting you when that glitch happens it could actually put you inside the floor. If you are actually falling, it looks like the transition happens really late, so you could be falling while the level is streaming in, again making it possible to get stuck in the floor. It looks like you are playing on a lower screen percentage as well. I wonder if the reduced resolution actually impacts the precision of the jumps. Viftech seemed to have allot more trouble hitting that ledge. Ill play around with screen percentages as well, see if that makes any difference. But yeah I shall play around some tomorrow. -edit- After looking at some more vids, I decided to run the demo and check it out. Didnt get as far as the ledge glitch area, but the deck of the ship is moving in ways the camera cant move. So kipz I think you are right. It is rotating in and out of 'the screen' which the camera wouldn't be able to fake. So what is happening with the characters/scarf then is that the player model is always up right, which makes sense. Otherwise the model would rotate weirdly when walking up slopes and what not. This is why the scarf looks like it is not affected by the movement of the ship, as the player controller is always 'balancing' itself. I assumed that it was a camera trick as it would simply be easier to implement.

probably looks a bit cleaner, the dark drop shadow to the top left just makes the dark text read a bit harder.
