Miitomo!

Does Miitomo have to be linked to another social media account in order to work? Just wondering because of the "add through Twitter" comment.

Nope, you don't have to connect to other social media. However.... as far as I can tell, there's only 3 ways to add friends: from Twitter, from Facebook, and Face-to-Face (i.e., in person).

So again, as far as I can tell, there's no way to just add somebody else already on Miitomo. You have to be in the same room, or do it through connections on those two social media sites.

I don't understand what the point of sending the QR codes made from your existing Mii. I mean... that would just encourage people to just make you as their Mii? What? Well, here's mine anyway. Add me on Twitter @mikeymc

I think you can have a bunch of Miis. The thing I'm not sure about -- if you become friends with somebody, does that automatically add their Mii?

I think the twitter follow has to be mutual (which seems odd), unless if I'm showing up on your link list now.

Although, I think it's a good idea. To me, Nintendo always knew how to touch a wide variety of people and gamer. That's a good point !

I *think* the answer to that question is yes. Or at least, I think you can sign up for more than one Miitomo account.

I've decided only to link people through Twitter and to leave Facebook out of it.
