Hey guys. In looking through my own Kickstarter comments, I came across something about how Ben had remarked that his next big project was set to launch around December. I don't think whatever that was has came to be yet? There was also talk back then of more than one project he was getting involved in, and it all sounded pretty exciting. I think this was from his episode of the Bloodcast.
Has anyone seen/heard anything that might give us some more info? Did one of these campaigns happen and I missed it?
If not, we'll keep this thread around for any news. The Kickstarters I would look forward to the most are ones similar to Bloodstained, handled similar to Bloodstained - the revival of a series or genre with great planning and support.

I know he made a day trip to LA recently... may or may not be related.
He dropped a clue in the BCB about what kind of game it will be.

I remember that...what was it...something about it being similar to a JRPG, but not quite? Like maybe action JRPG...
Which makes me think of Brave Fencer Musashi, Alundra, Brandish, Ys, etc etc. Hm...I should go get that direct quote when I have some time, there's probably some other info from that episode I forgot. It was a lot of good stuff.

My dream of dreams was that he somehow got da Gooch, Kato, Toriyama, etc. back for another go at the Chrono universe but I remember listening to the BCB podcast episode #2 and though I can't recall exactly what Ben said, it pretty much deconfirmed something of that sort. Anyway, I know certain months tend to be better for kickstarters than others. December is usually a bad month since people are doing a lot of traveling and spending money on friends and family. So it makes sense their might have been a delay (that and a chance to work on some more behind the scenes stuff before launching).

I doubt it but I'd carp brix if he managed to get someone to re-do xenosaga...all 6 episodes, not the wtf episode 2 murder feedback so they cram 4 episodes in 1 game for 3 and call it a day mess that did not do the series justice... it's still a damn good series. I played each of the 3 games like 3+ times each, but...it could have been so much more ='(... Just don't make it darker if you remake it. dont dont dont... I don't mind dark games, I LIKE dark games. But not-dark sci-fi is rare as fuu, especially since we are never gonna get phantasy star online 2. argh.
