Well, the donut hype and recent shoutbox conversations got me thinking about the world's food. I'd like to organize this topic into 3 different things for you to think about, list and discuss with the rest of us:
1. What are foods you particularly enjoy?:
2. What kind of food have you not been able to try, but want to?:
3. What foods would you like to see in Bloodstained? What would its effects be?:
#3 had crossed my mind as a topic unto itself, but may be short in content and replies, so rolling it into the discussion here would be appropriate.

edit: Apparently this is a merged post now, since anon's account is now gone. He had talked about tropical fruit and how he used to get it locally. Sounded really good, so: I would love to get more of what you're talking about with fruit. I love the tropical stuff I've had, and it certainly wasn't the high quality of what you're describing. I really liked the papaya I had at a buffet, for example, and was buying it for a time dried and mixed in with other fruits. Kind of hard to come by around here. I like fruit a lot though...always buying apples, bananas or grapes, but I should get more into the tropical stuff if I can find them D: For me: 1. Sushi and fish in general, chicken prepared all manner of ways, fruit as mentioned, peanut butter and nuts, chocolate, gelato, cheese, cereal, popcorn, eggs, pasta. Guilty favorites that I actually never eat: Oreos, Doritos, donuts, cheese fries (with bacon and ranch lol), a fast food combo with a shake. Also of note, I drink a lot of diet soda lol. 2. I've had really good sushi where I live, but trying Japanese food in Japan would be great. I'd also like to give some authentic ramen a shot. Fresh fruit as anon said. Some top level Italian food, too, that was my original love as a kid. 3. I'm a fan of how the previous Igavanias had so many (often amusing) food items. My favorite and the most iconic is the , though. I'm really hoping it's back in some form, and though they were not yet invented at that time in history, we'll hopefully see some doughnuts!

As a land owner, I decided to use my land to create a mini fruit farm. Granted, it's not matured as I have only been living here for 6.5 years. But here is what I have: blueberries, strawberries, wild blackberries (in abundance), raspberries (black and red), grapes, cherry trees, apple trees, peach trees, pear trees, plum trees, walnut trees, and pecan trees. The trees mostly don't produce anything yet; however the berries are a different story. I have been getting 5-6 gallons of blueberries from my 64 blueberry bushes each harvest. My strawberry pyramid has about 50 plants and we get about 2-3 gallons of strawberries. Every summer the wild blackberries yield easily over 100 gallons; however, I've never picked them all. The most I have picked in a single summer is around 11 gallons. Also, my grape vines yield about 10 gallons of grapes each year. We have wild and tame raspberries. The wild ones are more abundant.
But, to be more on topic, 1) I like to grill foods outside when the weather permits (steaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken). Also, my favorite foods are anything that could be considered a sandwich. We have a panini maker that we use quite often. I don't eat enough vegetables because I only like five different ones (corn, greenbeans, peas, carrots, lettuce). I will occasionally eat green/red peppers, jalapenos, and banana peppers. And I eat cucumbers, but only in pickle form. I will eat almost any fruit, however.
2) I am not well-traveled, so there are tons of foods I would like to try. I enjoy a lot of Italian, Mexican, and Chinese foods; however, I mostly have the American-ized versions of most dishes. I would like to try authentic stuff to get the "real deal."
3) In Bloodstained, I really like seeing the various wall meats. It would be cool to see some kind of wall meat in Bloodstained. (Or even have Miriam break open a wall and find nothing there and have some kind of dialog that says, "I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I am now hungry for some reason.")

I eat literally anything and everything. Favourites the last few months have been an all-you-can-eat sushi place nearby, and a Korean BBQ place which I don't go to as often due to the price. I cook Italian/Honduran/Chinese dishes mostly though. I am willing to try any foods from any culture. As for Bloodstained.. pretty much anything. I just love food haha.

Redogan...that sounds like a LOT of land lol. Wow. It'd be great to able to do that. My dad has a field he rotates soy beans/corn/sod on, but yeah...growing fruit like that would be awesome. We used to have some decent plum trees, but they're not in great shape anymore. And I live in an apartment, so...lol. Korean BBQ is great. Also Korean fried chicken.

1: im a foodie so pretty much everything. Though anything with lots of cheese and/or spicyness is often rated high by me. Bitter and sour are not so much tastes I like
2: i wanna try caviar but I cant afford. And I mean beluga/sturgion caviar, not lumpfish/salmon/ or that kelp imitation stuff. I do enjoy salmon roe though. Tobiko are the tiny ones. But what are the ones about as big as snow peas called again? Yum.
3: Meh, I expect a bit of everything but dont really care.
Boring fact: its a personal pet peeve of mine how everyone calls noodles ramen now. Wtf cant they just call it noodles. Why the name change. Im not even talking about the big bowls with stuff in soup. But people call the instant plastic packaged kind ramen too.

To me, the only thing that is ramen is the stuff in the little package that you add water to and zap in the microwave.

lololol I think you misunderstood him. That's what he's upset about haha.
Ghaleon, I think they call those things ramen because there's no other shortened term for them. It's just convenient and an approximation of what they are. You're not going to say "hey man, want some instant noodles?" in a casual conversation. Actually, you're not going to say that mostly because that should never be a question you ask someone. If you're eating them, you probably had to. "Hey man, how about some saltine crackers?"

Sigh. I think it says Ramen noodle soup on the package. Maybe they should repackage to just say instant noodles.

1. I have a great fondness of key lime pie, tropical fruits, puddings, hot teas (especially herbal tea!), and Greek/Italian cuisines. The ironic part being, that I am Italian and tend to make a mean general tso, but I can't make a solid Tiramisu... 2. Hmm... a food I want to try? I suppose that would probably be authentic dango or spring rolls. I couldn't quite master the recipe for dango, and I'd love to try it! 3. Food effects in Bloodstained? Well, health or magic regeneration is always nice... That or status effect healing. Herbal teas can help with that quite well, after all!

1. What are foods you particularly enjoy?:
Buffalo wings, cheeseburgers, pizza, spaghetti, shrimp, fried chicken and cheesecake are probably among my favorites. Yes I am a true health nut I know haha. 2. What kind of food have you not been able to try, but want to?:
Puffer-fish is all I can think of. 3. What foods would you like to see in Bloodstained? What would its effects be?:
Oh yes the classic meat in the walls makes me think back to older Castlevania games. Naturally they would add +hp like in all previous games maybe they could include cheeseburgers and pizza slices haha.

Huh, apparently my first post is now a merged post with my reply to anon. I wonder if the board did that on its own? I tried to make that look like it makes more sense isntead of me talking to myself...not that I don't talk to myself.
Anyway, haha zoned, there has been pizza and burgers before, so it's not...impossible? I wouldn't think Miriam would turn them down. Everybody loves pizza and burgers.
I've had some great cheesecake myself. A local favorite is the pumpkin spice cheesecake an Italian place here seasonally has. I'm not usually big on pumpkin things, but it's the best.

1. I like ALL sorts of food, but am very fond of Japanese and Korean food.
2. I really want to try something with Black Truffle as an ingredient. I love studying culinary arts and the Black Truffle is like the gold of culinary arts.
3. Parfait (Japanese style) Hp+ I suppose

Glad he liked it though it was one of the staple foods I grew up on, although I have moved up a level and these days I buy Velveeta instead of Kraft.
