So a classic feature in many of the past IgaVania games is the "Sound Test". That feature has already been confirmed to be in the game, as per the "Play a Hayter" and "As Said by Belgrade" tiers, but I think Bloodstained could have a bit more too it. I personally think it'd be cool if people could watch some of the key videos as well, such as the original KS pitch video and the Ask IGA episodes. Perhaps some concept art from Natsume-san could be view-able as well (with the understanding that those who have the Art Book should still get plenty of exclusive art only in the book). It could give shelf-buyers a glimpse into the campaign and we could always pop over and relive the fun of the campaign even if the KS page and website someday go down.
We could even call it "The Crypt" or "The Dungeon" or something suitably foreboding. What else do you guys think could be done? Or should it, in your opinions, not be a thing, with dev-tome better spent elsewhere?

that would be cool, have it all in a sort of special credits section of the title screen or a history book for miriams room, i think the music test should be part of a ghostly theater stage, where you traverse through different areas of it like the stage and rafters but if you find the opera box and sit in the chair you can watch the phantom orchestra play whatever song you select, and if you find a phonograph for miriams room you can access the sound test there too ^_^

In Skullgirls, there is a big image gallery in the game where you can look at arcade/story mode art & cutscenes, etc. One of the more interesting aspects of the gallery was the Guest Art section. There were a large number of pieces of art that were essentially fan art included in the gallery done by friends of the developers and other professional artists. Not so much commissions to my understanding but rather just asking artists if they were interested and willing to contribute something. Something like that would be really cool in a hypothetical gallery mode for Bloodstained. It would be super interesting to see how other artists would interpret the world and characters of Bloodstained through their hands/minds. We already have Amano (poster) and Kojima (alternate cover art) contributing in ways but I know there are a ton of super talented artists around the world that could produce interesting guest art as well. If Mana was interested/has the free time to contribute Bloodstained fanart then something like this seems like the ideal venue for max exposure too.

Considering how nearly every update has included fan-art, having that as part of a potential Gallery could be awesome. Awesome point.

Definitly agree ! A classic feature but never gets old. I remember Soul Calibur III had a pretty rich gallery with cinematics, screenshots, arts, gameplay videos, etc... Old Final Fantasy had their own sound / music gallery within the remakes, including also a bestiary. Well, I don't see any way to disagree with this idea.

All of these things would be great. I've seen several games now that feature fanart in-game (in a Gallery mode, I mean), so I think that could be a possibility. It could be seen as extra appropriate given the nature of Bloodstained, too. I'm all for it, if the team finds it possible.

I am now imagining Dragon's Crown gallery. Amazing works of art. I hope we get one for Bloodstained! NSFW

We could even call it "The Crypt" or "The Dungeon" or something suitably foreboding. Why would you store art in a crypt instead of corpses, or in dungeon instead of dungeon stuff? Why could not the castle have its own Gallery? Otherwise great idea!

This reminds me of Mortal Kombat's Krypt. It is almost a mini-game where you spend in-game currency to unlock concept art, extra fatalities, background art, sound, music, etc. The gallery-style inclusion of design concepts and other art is a great way to add in a little extra (and also not waste all those awesome backgrounds that didn't get picked for the game for whatever reason).
