Regarding a certain "overused" plot device: I feel like Death Stars in Star Wars are like mechs/Metal Gears in Metal Gear. They're the most powerful weapon in universe, so of course they're going to keep refining and iterating on them. I don't see why people were surprised the bad guys wanted to build their universe's de facto superweapon. You know, that's actually why I liked Mitth'raw'nuruodo more than your usual Sith or evil wannabe Sith. No doomsday weapon, no death star or planet killer. Just good old fashioned naval commanding tactics, grandstanding, and a good plan. He nearly did it, too. Anyway... about the film in question... Egh... I'm honestly not sure how to feel. I could vent about the vents on Kylo's saber for hours. That and whatever happened to the physics regarding light sabers... I also feel like we lost a good bit of context, in order to account for screen time. Regardless, we'll see what this does...
