As some of you may know the character designer for Bloodstained, Yuji Natsume, drew up some "Fan Art" of Yacht Games Shovel Knight as a huge hulking suit of armor. It has recently been announced that by speaking with Yacht Games, Inti Creates have gotten permission to use the Shovel Armor concept in Bloodstained. As such he will be appearing within the game to some extent, how exactly is currently unknown *is hoping he will be a familiar for Miriam because I don't wanna fight him he looks so cute* |

I kinda hope we do fight him. I loved his game and think he would make an interesting secret boss. It'd be really neat that if you beat him he'll help you out threw out the rest of the game.

Not a big deal to me. I did like 8-bit Simon in HOD, I also like the online HOD with all the characters together. But since I never played shovel knight it does nothing for me hearing he's in the game. I wish it were battletoads or something instead. Someone I know.

It would be cool if there would be a dark, "realistic" version of the Shovel Knight character to fight. Maybe something you wouldn't even connect to Shovel Knight before it swinging out a shovel-esque weapon (after which you'd go "Aaahhhhh!").

Thought Ixbran knew, well ok Shovel Knight would do best being an NPC somewhere, or as a statue. Perhaps a Shovel with the lore that a Knight once vanquished evil with it. And later on seeing a armorned knight in blue, connecting those two will make gamers that knows about Shovel Knight to have a giggle. |

More seriously, I would love to see this recreation of shovel Knight in the game. A spear class shovel would great as well so Miriam could swing it like shovel Knight did.

I wonder if he'll be a sprite or polygonal? It would have been nice if he was a playable character as these games usually have playable characters.
