You turn based RPGs? You like Film Noir? You like pixel art? Then have I got the game for you!
They attempted to fund Pixel Noir a year or so back, but it bombed hard. I had heard of it, but had no way to support it other than spreading the word. It sadly failed, but I'm happy to see them give it another try.
EDIT: Now Shovel Knight as well as the upcomming Alicia from Heart Forth, Alicia will be making an appearance of some sort in this game.

Kicktraq says Pixel Noir is currently on its way to reach $76,000, but with Kicktrack being Kicktrack and the internet being as unpredictable as it is, I'd take that prediction with a grain of salt. I'll be satisfied if the game gets both of the expanded story goals. |

They hit all the story expansions. Now it's just some ports left. The Eshop version is up next last I checked. I played the demo, I had fun with it for what it was. I'm very interested in the story line and I want to see if they can pull it off. Gameplay is standard turn-based in the demo. I found quite a few secrets and some sections where I was in a spotlight. I don't know if it was a hallucination, but it did catch me off guard. I got both endings.
I'm definitely backing this.

The game got funded with $61,000 and reached the mobile port goal. Yay! I look forward to picking up Pixel Noir through a Steam Sale or Humble Bundle since I was unable to back the game in time (used the money for Indivisible) and I thought the demo was okay. |
