Please, please, please don't fold these posters. My giant sized map at the 500 dollar tier deserves to be rolled in a poster tube. All others, even. Pretty please please please?

I backed a kickstarter for a hardcover book, which also came with a poster and some pins. When the book arrived, it was in a very large padded envelope, which was folded in half in my mailbox (basically so the book was in one half of the envelope). I bring it into the house, and lift up the other half of the envelope so that it's flat, and the words "DO NOT BEND" greet me on the half of the envelope that I had flipped up. The poster was a mess, fortunately the book was okay.
So yes, please. Particularly given the tier level of that thing...

There aren't many options for ensuring things come pretty when you go through any mail service. It's tough. Pay the local geek shop premium, or roll the dice with the mail. I try to offer extra for good shipping/packaging, but that doesn't always work out with bigger sellers. OR stuff like this. I figure we can get ahead of it with this thread, this kickstarter crew seems to be good to us. I'd be willing to pay a difference in shipping to ensure it gets rolled, but I know any tier with a poster is already up there with the price. LOVE US, FANGAMER AND FRIENDS. |

I will add that I just made my first normal Fangamer-site order earlier this week -- three books and a shirt. The package came yesterday, and it was very well protected. Several layers of good protection, in fact. So the good news is, I think they might already understand...

I'm less worried about the other items, that was mostly just conversation.
The main thing is the posters. Any poster I've ever gotten that comes with a game has been folded. I have to assume they would ship everything together in one glorious box, which means the poster is going to be in that box, folded.

I bought a few posters from Fangamer recently myself and they were indeed in plastic sleeves, rolled, and sealed in tubes as stated. No problems at all. My order even came with some extras...some of which I don't entirely understand what they are lol.
